You get what you pay for
Solid quality unit. Built very well. Plugs spaced well, solid receptacles, cord length worked well for us, plug and play installation. Good clamping voltage. You pay more than cheap generics but the whole point is safety so why compromise?

What is the size of the screw to mount this thing?
#4 x 3/4″ Quantity of 4 plus one to keep the strip from sliding in the key hole slot. After mounting with the four screws and sliding the unit in place, place a screw close to the end of the unit so that the unit cannot be slid off the 4 mount screws.

Does exactly what it’s designed to do and then some!
This is a simple Surge Protector, but it has some additional features that are very nice things to have on a surge protector. It features EMI filtering up to 43db which is good if you are using this with a home stereo system and are trying to get rid of 60 cycle hum. It also features two additional lights to let you know if your plug outlet is properly grounded and your items are protected. Nice heavy duty construction with a thick 6 foot cord. After having good luck using this with a small home studio, I bought several additional units for my bedroom. This is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it.

space for those big tranformer plugs
My old metal case power strip finally died and I got this as a replacement. Works fine and the space for two large transformer type plugs at the end are really handy. The cord is thick, which is good, but not long enough. I had to move things around to make it work.

Needed a surge protector for home office
I was needing a surge protector to protect my work from home laptop and monitor. Found this Belkin and it has all of the outlets and joules that I will be needing since I would be using to many plug ins. As an added bonus this surge protector is substantial in weight as it is metal which is hard to find anymore. Lifetime Warranty – Be sure to fill in the product registration and return to Belkin for the Surgemaster Power Protection. This is one of the reasons that I purchased Belkin, is that they do stand behind their products w/ this true warranty.
