Amazon Basics Camping Chair

Great Chair!
The chair arrived on time, I find it to be very comfortable/roomy and it’s well worth the price. I also like the fact that it is as described w/the cup holder, cooler, and has a side pocket for magazines/books. I like that not only can I fit 4 12 oz cans of beverages, but w/out those, I can fit my single 25oz water bottle, which I tend to use more frequently. Plus it’s easy to carry around. If you’re looking for a decent chair, I think you’re getting your money’s worth w/this one.

This chair is best for those on the smaller size
This is a great little chair for the money and perfect for me. Unfortunately, if you are much taller than 5’3” and somewhat thin, this chair will be way too small for you. I am just 5’3” and about 130 pounds and there isn’t a whole lotta room for me but it’s exactly what I wanted. It does have a nice holder for drinks and a zipped compartment for little odds and ends things and it was light to carry and seems to be well-made. It is just small

Don’t get the un-padded version
Not for me. I am petite at 5’1″ and this was very uncomfortable. I got the basic version with no padding. While it was fine enough to sit in for 3 hours, I realized afterwards that my tailbone got bruised! I understand that ergonomics are hard to find in camping chairs, but there are clearly better options out there.Cons- The back is at an uncomfortable 90 degree angle so I needed a separate back pillow for support. There is no recline.- The front of the chair sags so it kind of squeezes my legs together / adds light pressure to the back of my thighs. (If you’re tall/average maybe this is fine for you)- Non padded version is–as you’d expect–very not padded. Lesson learned, I will pay the extra for padded.- Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning: At 8lbs it’s a little bulky for the lack of comfort.- Smelled like chemicals out of the box. Had air it for 48 hrs before it was bearable to sit in. Yuck.Pros:- Seems sturdy to me- Easy to set up, easy to move- Easy to get in and out of. Normal chair height vs sitting low to the ground.- Lots of storage. Fit my 24oz plastic water bottle (Owalla) comfortably. I didn’t try the insulated pocket.- I was able to keep my feet mostly flat on the ground despite being short- I could lay my neck on the back of the chair to look at the sky! Probably doesn’t apply to taller folks though.- Very affordable for the market and the chair perks you get- Bonus: I was able to hang my light backpack (~5lb total) on the back corner of the chair without the chair tipping, even if I wasn’t sitting in it.But overall… I’m looking for a comfortable chair, and the basic non padded version is not for me. I’d say the biggest deal breakers are the 90 degree seat back and the lack of padding in the chair. I learned that this makes a big difference.

Really solid build, good quality

Me ha gustado mucho esta silla, es una buena silla, amplia, cómoda, y se la ve de bastante buena calidad, es más grande que la mayoría de las sillas de camping. De hecho la compré por eso, para mi pareja que es voluminoso y alto, y pesa 100 kg, y claro, tenía que ser una silla potente y resistente, a él le pareció cómoda, y lo que me gusto, es que la altura del asiento está más alta que las otras sillas que vi por internet, más alta de 40 cms, y así no te quedan las piernas colgando, para una persona alta de mínimo 1.70 cms es lo más adecuado, y justo él mide 1.80 cms, le venía perfecto.De hecho, yo mido eso y está justo tmb ideal para mis piernas, casi seguro compre otra para mi, pues la que tengo ahora, no me gusta pues es muy bajita e incómoda, pues no llego bien a la mesa que tenemos para cenar.Ahh además cuenta con una mini neverita en un lado del reposabrazos, si bien nosotros no lo usamos para eso, lo usamos para guardar esas cosas, que quieres tener más a mano, y sobretodo no quieres perder.
