Can’t beat the value
Excellent quality for the price right off the bat. Im out after sunset working remote sites frequently and needed something that doesn’t destroy my night vision or mess with circadian rhythm too badly and this headlamp goes above what I needed. It definitely looks to be true 660 but cant confirm. The ease of setting the light and its memory function between settings is a godsend. Its intuitive, simple, thank jesus for the little things. Hold for red and to change output, single for off and on. Button is smooth and not in the way with life indicator built in. The red alone is worth the purchase for me. Plenty of light for whatever you need and in true color although I can’t verify cir output, looks great tho. Headband is wide soft and thick with a mount that can be fitted with a new one when this wears out, but I forget im wearing it honestly. Battery life for me has been unbelievable using mostly 2nd light setting between white and red at over a week using multiple hours an evening. The battery is a simple button top 18650 lithium that can be purchased and swapped readily for cheap if you need spares…this is a fantastic headlamp, done right, for the right price, especially on Black Fri…so i picked up two. Highly recommend.

Solid entry level headlamp!
I have a generic Husky headlamp bought from homedepot a few years ago, it was alright but the runtime is pretty weak and I needed something that would last me a few hours without needing a recharge.A buddy of mine has a Sofirn flashlight and he likes it a lot, so I thought I’d give it a shot, and wow it was good! You can’t beat it at this price point for the feature it offers. The 18650 battery that came with it has a 3000mah rating, that’s more than 3 times the Husky light I have. It’s got both a regular LED bulb and a red bulb. I use the red for nighttime photography and it works really well for me. I could see all the camera controls without blinding myself or attracting a bunch of bugs. The regular LED is also pretty bright, it has multiple brightness settings and a simple UI for easy operation, much better than the old Husky light.I’ll recommend it to anyone who needs a headlamp for working on things that’s got a great runtime and also simple to use.

Great headlamp!
This is a good headlamp. I was a little skeptical with only one white LED but it puts out just as much light as my 3 LED headlamp. This comes with a Sofirn brand 18650 battery. Using high brightness will use the battery quickly but other modes give plenty of run time. I like the battery status LED on the end. The light output is more of a spotlight than flood which is good. The red LED is extremely bright on high and would work great at the beach. I didn’t have any issues wearing this for extended periods as it’s very lightweight. I would definitely recommend this especially at this price point.

Fantastic
This is the best headlamp I have ever used. I do night hunts for Coyotes, etc. and the red is VERY good. Adjustable intensity and memory. Extremely bright white for finding your deer!I must have half a dozen different headlamps. All were 2-3 times the price. This smokes them all.Battery lasts very long and what I also like is how it swivels for adjustments. For the price it can’t be beat.

Great light… wanted to rate it higher
Would have given a 5 star if it could be clipped to a cap. This is a solid well designed light that is very bright at its highest settings. I would have liked a green light, as well as the ability to clip it to a hat, but compared to the clippable ones I tried (and am sending back) this is a great item. I’m not a fan of headbands but the quality of this thing is too good for me not to work something out. It has a battery strength indicator and NOT a sensor to turn it on & off…If you have ever used that function in the woods or anywhere else, you know how annoying that can be when you have other things than your hand triggering the sensor!

Works Great
Works great… solidly built. Once you get used to the switch settings, it’s easy to get the light you want. 5 position dim settings on both the red light and white lite. I use it for astronomy and it remembers the previous dim settings every time you turn it on, either red or white. The USB charge port is a little hard to find the first time… (It’s under a waterproof cap), and the battery size makes it a little heavy, but it’s comfortable. great product!

Bright, lightweight, sturdy with both white and red lights
When visiting a barrier island last year, we borrowed this model headlamp from a friend to go looking for hatching turtle nests and was immediately a fan. There are lots of different brands out there of similar style, and they may be just as nice, but we decided to get this one for our daughter before she goes to study abroad in remote area.Headband is comfortable and adjustable. There’s no over-the-head strap, which may be an issue for long term use, but I’ve never felt it was necessary. It’s very easy to use with just one button for all the functions. Press once to turn on white light and it remembers your last brightness setting. Long press when on will cycle through the brightness levels. One click to power off. From an off position, long press will turn on the red light, and the brightness is controlled the same.Overall this is plenty bright for our use, in both the white and red light settings. The brightest setting was more than necessary for general use, though it’s nice to have if you really need it. We haven’t run the battery down fully, so I can’t say how long it will last before needing a recharge, but we’ve used it 3 nights without needing a recharge. The protected USB-C charging port is something we liked. Rather than just having a little rubber cap, like some do, the port is hidden and protected – unscrew one side of the lamp to get to it.The lamp clips into the headband securely and can be adjusted up or down. If you’re with other people, you’ll want to aim it more to the ground or you’ll blind them every time you try and talk to them. The weight is good and the overall size is clearly “just big enough to hold the battery”, so nothing extra.
