Killer mountain biking and athleisure pants
I have two pairs of these lightweight pants and really like them, especially for mountain biking. I tried out one pair in sage green for a few weeks and came back for the lake blue.I have a nearly identical pair of hiking pants, 30×30, from another Asian distributor. (It is my assumption that all three are manufactured and/or distributed from Asia.) Looking at the pictures I was pretty confident they were the same, so I went a bit smaller for these two new pairs, 28×30. These newer pairs use thinner fabric but the same pattern, zipper pulls, and quality construction. The slightly thicker pants I already had have held up very well and are very comfortable. I am hoping for similar results with these. Most of my pants are 28 to 31 waist and 30ish inseam; I am 5’9”, 155, with a fairly slim build. When wearing these new pants, the waist still has an additional inch of give, although I don’t need to wear a belt. I sized down, so the overall fit is slim. The fit of one 28×30 pair is a bit smaller and the length at least an inch shorter—noticeable but not deal-breaking manufacturing inconsistencies in size. But they all look good with my mtb and trail running shoes. I like the overall snug fit and am glad I sized down.I put their breathability and practicality to the test on several rides so far in Colorado Front Range winter temps (40-60 f), and I am very pleased. The fabric has nice stretch that doesn’t restrict mountain biking movements. The ankles are slim enough that I don’t worry about them catching in my drivetrain. And they still look good after sweaty, dusty trail riding. I think they will work even for summer rides into the 80’s.As with many Asian-manufactured pants I have tried, the rise (from the belt line to the crotch, both front and back) is somewhat longer than a lot of American-made pants. Not a big deal as I can roll the waist down once to snug the fit when needed. These new pants have a paper tag declaring YKK zippers, however all the zipper pulls are unbranded on one pair, and only one zipper that I have seen is actually stamped YKK, so I’m skeptical. Nearly all zippers on both pairs work well; a couple are a bit draggy. (Poor zippers were the downfall of the older, thicker pair I had—only half of them worked.)The sage color looks great (a light silvery green), is exactly as pictured in the ads, and most importantly coordinates with my bike. The lake blue is a rad color, but look at customers’ pics for truer representation than in the ad pics. It is a pleasing mix of blue grey with a slight greenish undertone (clashes with most blues).Killer mountain biking and athleisure pants!Edit: I have worn the light green pair on a couple dozen mountain bike rides on dry to muddy trails and to local bike parks. They are holding up great, wash well when they get too gross, and are very comfortable on the bike. I’m keeping an eye on the butt seam where I dread seeing wear damage, but none yet. All zippers keep working well. Although I rarely use more than a front pocket for my wallet, I stuck my iPhone 11 in the left thigh pocket on one ride and soon forgot it was there. Functional and comfortable.

Great pants for hiking. Looks and feels good. Bought more than one!
Five stars. These pants are great. They look good, feel comfortable. I’m not sure how long they last but I used them for moderate hikes. I bought additional pairs because I liked them.

Comfortable and Functional Hiking Pants with Tons of Pockets!
I’m really impressed with these Arunlluta hiking pants! They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The material is lightweight and has a nice stretch to it, making them perfect for long hikes. One of the best features is the number of pockets—six in total—and they all have zippers! This is fantastic for keeping my phone, keys, and other small essentials secure while I’m on the trail. My only minor gripe is that the zipper tabs can sometimes get in the way or be a little annoying, but it’s a small trade-off for the security. The elastic waist is very comfortable and a simple nylon belt is included, which is a nice bonus. I would recommend sizing down, though, because the elastic waist gives a lot of flexibility in fit. I normally wear a medium but a small would have been a better fit for me.I haven’t had a chance to test the water resistance yet, but the material feels durable and looks like it would hold up well against a light drizzle. Overall, these are a great pair of hiking pants for the price.

Decent quality for the price. Could use a gusset and some stronger stitching.
I’ve bought several pair over the past 5 years or so, and wear them almost daily. For the price, they’re hard to beat. They are sold under a few different brand names and I’ve bought a few different ones. But they’re all the same original manufacturer, as far as I can tell. Same materials, same pattern, same fit. And they all run around $20-$30 per pair, depending on when you buy them and which brand name they’re being sold under. They use YKK zippers, which is great. There are definitely higher-quality options out there, but for a significantly higher price. The stitching isn’t the strongest I’ve seen, but I get a few years of regular wear out of them before any issues with the stitching pops up.They have a slight stretch to them, so when crouching or climbing, they don’t restrict movement. They’re light weight as well.My biggest complaint is that I wish there was a gusset in the crotch, because that’s where the stitching always seems to split. I’ve looked around a little bit for some matching material (color and stretch) to try making my own gussets, but I’ve had no luck doing that, so I just stitch them back up as they were made, and that works okay.I work in IT, so they see a decent amount of wear, occasionally crawling under desks, and whatnot, and they also see a decent amount of use in the woods as a hiking/hunting pant. They’re breathable and don’t chafe. They do a good job of wind-breaking on breezy days, and they also do an okay job or shedding rain. I wouldn’t want to use them specifically as rain gear, but that’s not their intended purpose. They’re thin and light enough to not be too hot during summer, but warm enough for outdoor use from early spring through late-fall. In the winter, a base layer is required for outside wear more than a few minutes. If the stitching was a little stronger and they had a gusset, would take these pants from just being a good value to being stellar. That would put them on par with brand-names that cost 3-5x what these do.

Useful
Perfect size, comfortable, looks nice and very useful.

Sharp zippers
Zippers on the back are sharp and scratched the heck out of the leather seats on my car.

As expected

I’ll help you refine your review to make it clearer and more helpful for other shoppers. Here’s a suggested revision:The sizing runs large due to the elastic waistband design. While the stated waist measurement refers to the pre-stretched size, the elastic expands significantly, making the pants looser than expected. I found them too loose to wear without a belt. My recommendation: order one size smaller than your usual size for a better fit. Was disappointed with my purchase.

good value. seem well made. just be aware they have an elastic waist, so the size 30 fit a 32” waist fine
