A nice improvement from the previous model
This is my third Beats pill, first of this new generation. It’s a bit smaller, lighter and easier to carry around, especially with the new wrist strap. It sounds amazing, right along with what you come to expect from Beats and Apple, it doesn’t disappoint. The biggest difference I’ve noticed is how quickly it pairs with devices compared to previous models. It’s also incredibly easy to switch between devices after the initial pairing of each; I just start playing whatever media on iphone, ipad, or macbook and then select the pill for the output and it connects in a second. It also now shows up on Find My along with your other devices, and from my understanding, works the same as an AirTag which is pretty cool. The only downside is the power button. It took a while to get used to and sometimes I still wind up trying two or three times to power it up or down because I didn’t hold it down long enough. I’ve also had an issue where the audio cuts out for a couple seconds here and there but haven’t pinned down the cause of the interference. Overall it’s a solid speaker, great sound, very loud for its size, longer battery life and better connectivity. They’re even cheaper than the previous model and go on sale often so you can’t go wrong.

Vibrant Colors, Vibrant Sound, Truly the Best Speaker to Have Ever Existed!!
This is the best speaker I have ever had! The color is vibrant and bright. Personally, the red is my favorite but they all are so vibrant and saturated, and don’t get me started on the sound quality. The sound quality this is by far better than any speaker I have ever owned or heard! It is super easy to use and automatically pairs to iPhone. For the price, the sound quality is truly just astonishing. It is super easy to bring along, and the strap on it is super strong and can be jostled around without breaking. The battery life is also amazing. I usually use it in lower volume, but it lasts 40 hours easily when fully charged and I have seen it go to 50! It works better than described and really feels like the artist is singing right in front of me with the highly advanced sound quality. This is truly the best speaker to have ever existed and it would be a mistake not to buy it.

Great performance and value
When paired with another Beats Pill the amplify and stereo function capability is innovative and impressive given the lack of standalone subwoofer. I listen to a decent amount of music which encompasses a variety of styles, and while deficiencies can be found, they perform admirably given a wide range of testing. The largest deficiencies I have noticed is that the sound becomes muttled and the bass weak when heavier bass is paired with deeper male vocals. This is where a standalone sub would be beneficial. Additionally, I have found that the bass lines in Caribbean music, which has a different type of bass line than I have generally heard, to suffer most noticably as a style of music from this deficiency.Despite this, I found the overall audio quality and performance of these speakers to be impressive. Throughout many genres and styles these speakers perform well, have good clarity, and deliver a great performance given the limitations. The battery life has also been fantastic.

Amazing, Would Recommend
Really good speaker. It is a pricier purchase but definitely worth it. It is super easy to set up. You can use it everyday or for events, parties etc.. You will find yourself using it a lot more than you expect. The slick design looks amazing and it is it super easy to travel with or take with you anywhere you go. I would highly recommend it. I also gave it as a gift and it was brilliant.

Great Quality
The sound quality is great and the charge lasts. Be sure to let it charge completely the first time. It feels durable and worth the money.

Great for the right price
I found this on a good sale for $100, and it’s definitely worth it at that price. It has good, clear sound with good bass, holds its charge for an eight hour shift when I bring it to work, charges out to my iPhone, connects with a USB-C cable and integrates well with my Mac. The design also just feels good in my hand.At the full price of $150, however, I feel like there are better options out there. The sound is good, but other speakers at a similar price would probably carry farther. Volume really impacts the battery, as I usually keep it down a bit to get through an eight-hour shift (which likely influences what I wrote above). Also, the instructions make an embarrassing omission about how to turn it off. (You have to hold the left button for about a second, something I had to learn through a web search.)Still, it’s a good little speaker that’s worth what I paid for it. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem or you find it at a good price, then this is a great option. Otherwise, you’ll want to consider all of your options. Personally, I’m quite happy with mine.

Great sound and battery life
I use this to play music during pickleball recreational play. It can play loud with great sound coming from this little thing! I got it when it was on a special and I love it! Best sounding speaker I’ve purchased thus far. Connected well with my iPhone and I haven’t had an issue with it. I use it about 2-4 times a week for about 3-5 hours each use and haven’t had any issues with it. Quality is great, battery life is excellent, and functionally is perfect. Highly recommend this version.

We love our BEATS pills! After purchasing this one, my family members bought 2 more. Sometimes we pair them for a truly awesome sound watching movies.I love carrying my pill around with me while I’m working at home. It’s so easy to do, with its light weight, great sound, and slim good looks! It actually makes every song seem so clear and “alive”. It is a wonderful asset when sound doesn’t normally carry very well from room to room.

Simple to use, very simple to pair within the Apple ecosystem, supporting iCloud pairing and simple initial pair. Can easily get battery information directly from device. AirPlay integration would have been welcome.Controls are simple, although take some practice to get used to. Power button controls both power and pairing. I do wish the Pill could be turned on with one touch of power button. I’ve yet to test the microphone/speaker function, but that’s a nice enough addition.I find the sound great, but I am no audiophile. I intend to use this speaker for what portable speakers are best designed for- travel, beach, patio, etc. It sounds excellent, even at moderate volume. The dual pairing function looks awesome, although not within my use case.Design is sleek and feels solid- but light enough for great portability. The soft touch silicone feels great, although I can foresee being a bit of a dirt magnet, at least on the champagne gold model. The lanyard is a welcome addition, but I do wish it was adjustable- unsure what the point of adding a lanyard is if it cannot be tightened/loosened. USB-C is a great addition, as is fast fuel.Battery life is rated at 24H. Based on early usage, I would believe this to be reasonably accurate. Unit drained about 10% listening to podcasts at ~50% volume.Overall positive first impression. Definitely not a cheap speaker, but you are buying this for the ecosystem integration, good sound, and excellent battery life. Price is pretty on par with similar quality speakers. Beats products are frequently discounted, so maybe wait for a sale.

I usually buy all Bose products when it comes to speakers but when my last Bose crapped out, I decided to try the beats pill. I LOVE this speaker. the sound quality is so good, and I love that its water resistant because we have brought this thing everywhere with us. Also love that it has the hand strap.. makes it easier to carry around. I have a super HUGE backyard and the sound of this speaker easily carries through the whole area. Really impressed by this beats pill.
