Amazing feeling shoe for heavy guys
This is the first pair of Brooks I have owned. For years I have unsuccessfully sought a good, comfortable, sturdy walking shoe. I read a review that indicated the Brooks Ghost Max 2 was one of the best shows for heavy men. The review stressed numerous factors for the shoe’s success and that what made it truly amazing is that it is highly comfortable but achieves that comfort without being squishy and unsupported. I bought them for general daily use and have been exceedingly pleased with the level of support they deliver while being very comfortable. They are definitely my favorite new general use, and walking shoe.

Best one i have found
I’m a heavy warehouse worker with miles of concrete floor walking and long 12 hour shifts. I have tried every brand on Amazon and these are the absolute best for me. I normally get new shoes after 3 good months, but these have held up 7 months so far, and i might get another 2 months. I’m 260lbs and walk around 5 miles per shift. Kinda pricey but the longer wear and far better comfort than Reebok, Adidas, Under Armor, Nike, Rockport, Hoka, New Balance, and Asics, that I have tried and do good for 2 or 3 months, before my feet start aching every day. My next pair will be these, but I might try the leather version of the same shoe for these coming winter months. Anyway compared to my previous trials, these are the most impressive for me. I don’t write reviews, I just thought that I might help someone else looking for something pretty decent.

Super Comfy
Waited a bit to rate. These are without a doubt the best shoes I have ever owned. Walking 12-14miles a week has never been more enjoyable. Super comfy and the cushioning is excellent. I’ll probably get another pair before too long. Definitely recommend

Excellent shoes
So much more comfortable than the adrenaline 24. In the adrenaline I feel like I’m falling forward, which is great for walking but not standing still. These are flatter. There’s great support in both, and the insole and foam is such that your foot sinks in and it forms a perfect imprint. Somehow they’re both more cushioned and less squishy than the adrenaline. Both are great shoes but these are excellent. They don’t feel wonky at all. Can’t speak for the durability but I don’t expect them to last as long as leather shoes with full rubber soles, but they also weigh about 1/4 as much so I consider that trade off to be worth it.

Good shoes for walking, but they run small, at least for me.
I purchased these shoes specifically for my daily walks where I’m aimin for 10-12k steps. At first, I purchased a 11-Wide shoe which is a bit larger than I’d normally get, but I read that some people thought they ran a little small, especially in the toe area, so I bumped up the size in the hopes it would fit well. When I received them, I found that they are still a bit tight in the toe area, but I was hoping they’d break in. However, after a week of my walks, I found that the shoes were comfortable with the exception of the toe area. I also found that at first, I had a little bit of calf pain, but that subsided after about five days and now there’s zero pain when walking.I decided that I’m going to return the 11-Wides and I ordered 11.5-Extra Wides. I received those yesterday and put them through their paces today. These fit much better and are much more comfortable. The tightness around the toe area is gone and these are a keeper. I find the padding and support is very good and they’re comfortable. I don’t know how they’d hold up for running or jogging, but that wasn’t why I bought them. They also don’t look bad and I can wear them all day with no discomfort, though I typically switch shoes and only use these when I’m on my actual walks, versus general running around. These are my first shoes of this brand and I’d buy them again, but I just need to understand I need to go up about a full size and go wider if I want comfort. I knocked off a star simply because an 11-Wide should have been more than sufficient, but they were not. I’ve never had to buy a shoe larger than an 11-Wide my entire life until these.

The show support for the shoes were great. The shoes were really comfortable and very breathable. The color was good. It’s was basic black for work. If I could choose a different color I would choose something else but I can only wear black. It’s easy to put on the shoes. The style was very cool these ghost max is the top of the line brand of shoes that they have I believe. The ghost are pretty expensive it’s like $200 almost. I returned the shoes because for me they were to tight in the very front where my toes are and I’m on my feet all day for work. I would recommend these shoes. Just make sure you buy the correct size.

Good pair/ comfortable
They are comfortable I use more mostly walking and every day use. I think the Glycerin 21 is the most comfortable so far both neutral comfort but more bounce in your step with Glycerin 21 they also cost more also.
