Roomy!
Great tent. We bought the 6 man tent and it fits two adult mattresses and two dog crates easily. Easy set up and seems very durable.

Easy set up and stays dry inside.
Great value for the money. A simple 2 person tent (we all know to take the number of people a tent is SUPPOSED to be for and divide by two – no way 4 people can comfortably spend a night in this tent) that sets up very quickly. We have camped during a small bit of rain; but the rainfly worked to keep the tent completely dry inside. Two single cots and enough gear for two people fit inside. This tent has been on a few weekend Cub Scout camping trips and has served its purpose very well.

NOT 5 Minute setup
The tent seems well made. I’m not a big fan of the pre attached pole method. It does set up easy enough with one person though. I may come back and edit after some rain use. The space inside could fit 6 people if they’re okay touching each other. Realistically this is a 3-4 adult tent max even though they claim 6. Just like with sleeping bags… you can do 6 but it’ll suck.Right now I am immediately removing one star for the blatant false advertising of a 5 minute setup time. I am an avid camper and outdoorsman who has played with enough tents, and I timed myself and got 13 minutes without counting adjustmenrs or tying out guy lines.Even if you were experienced with this specific tent, 5 minutes to set it up is literally impossible.

HUGE!
My husband and I set this up in our dining room today – just to get a feel for its size, check for any tears, broken zippers, or issues with poles. First of all, it’s huge! As a family of 5, we wanted something large enough for a comfortable camping weekend. My husband and daughter backpack and have tiny, lightweight tents for that purpose – this is NOT that!It took just under 20 minutes for my husband to open it and set it up for the first time; it was pretty simple and I imagine would go much quicker when the two of us set it up together. The quality seems nice and my kids are excited to use it.

Excellent beginner/trial tent
Last year I decided I wanted to start camping. I had not been camping since I was a teen w/my parents decades ago. I wanted to get into the hobby cheap, but not so cheap as to ruin the experience. Just to see if I really would enjoy it or if the nostalgia would wear off fast.I used this tent several times this year and don’t regret it one bit.In the pros column:* Plenty of space for a single person. I was able to fit a camping cot, my camping chair, and a 25 gallon bin (as a nightstand) in the tent with enough room to move around. It was snug, but comfortable.* The tent held up to moderate rain on two of my trips – no water got inside. Though there was little wind to drive the rain.* The mostly netting body with the rain fly providing privacy meant that the tent remained relatively cool. But it was still comfortable down into the mid-30s F.And the cons:* The provided stakes were not of the best quality and were a challenge to use in the very rocky sites I went to in the West.* While the tent could remain cool, in direct sunlight on a desert day, it would not. The lone window on the front door meant there was little chance of a cross breeze helping matters much.* Setting up as a solo camper did take some time – definitely not the 5 minutes as advertised. Closer to 15 minutes.* The domed walls do cut down on the usable floor space inside the tent when not sleeping/resting directly on the ground.* Trying to get the tent to fit into the original, machine packed bag, is an exercise in futility. I simply bought a 25 gal. tote to carry the tent, rain fly and ground tarp in.Honestly, for a year’s worth of usage to see if I really was going to keep camping, this was the ideal tent. A lot of the negatives on the list are more due to the style of camping I intended to use vs. the style of camping the tent targets. This is more of a heavier, multi-person, backpacking tent whereas I set out to car-camp as a solo person.I have since replaced this tent with a far more expensive, far heavier, and roomier tent for my 2nd season. But this tent fulfilled it’s purpose. It let me know camping is something I am enjoying for the hobby it is, and not the nostalgia of years past.

First-Time Tent Owners, We’re So Impressed!
We bought this Coleman tent to prepare for an upcoming camping trip in a few weeks, and as first-time tent owners, we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me just say, we’re so impressed! We did a trial run in our bedroom to make sure we could set it up, and it was super easy. The instructions were clear, and it took us less than 10 minutes to get it fully pitched. The tent feels sturdy and well-made, with plenty of space inside. The ventilation is great, and it even looks nice! We feel so much more confident heading into our trip knowing we have a reliable, easy-to-use tent. If you’re new to camping like us, this is a perfect choice to start with.

Lives up to the hype
The hype is true. This is the easiest tent I have ever owned. One person can’t get this all the way up in 5 minutes but you can do it in 10, counting tightly staking out the fly. The quality is consistent with other Coleman products I have used in the past. Packing it is a little more tedious but not bad. Buy some aftermarket stakes though. My first trip encountered a hard rain and a little wind. There were no leaks.

Broke during the very first camping trip with a few minutes of stronger wind. Also leaked in moderate intensity rain from the stitches near the front where the Coleman wording is proudly presented. Spacious and easy to pitch are perhaps the only good things I could think about.

La tienda está bien, sin embargo, le falta uno de los vientos y hace que no sienta del todo bien. es mi única queja, pero a la vez es importante cuando estás en situación de viento fuerte.
