Great lights
For the price these are amazing. Charges very quickly and holds a charge for a long time. These are flexible and fit your head well. Easy to use and not a ton of buttons to remember where stuff is located. I am not a huge fan of the motion on off, if you are under a car and move around it will turn off then back on. I use these mostly for working on cars. Flashlight is good quality and pretty durable. Took photos from the same spot in a dark garage. First is the main light, high. Second is the spot light. Last is the red light.

Super powerful and long lasting charge
I hike 5 miles every morning starting about 5:30 am. Until the recent time change in Nov that meant hiking for the first hour in the dark. Since I’m hiking local mountain trails and not lit public streets I definitely need some light so I don’t end up off the trail and fall of the mountain. I use these things a bit differently than as headlamps. Since wearing on the head tends to make my head sweat and makes the light bob and weave as a walk I simply expand the headband to the max and step into the thing and then pull up to my waist. This provides a much more effective wide angle illumination of the trail, closer to the ground so more effective light and since the light is coming from my waist a much more steady light. Also when I meet upcoming folks on the trail I don’t blind the with the light since its at waist level. A fellow hiker commented that I looked like a Tesla coming down the trail. But then he promptly asked me where I got these things and is now wearing them just the same. The charge holds steady for about 6 hours, which is a nice feature.

Versatile and very bright, not great for hats, lacks aiming capability
I ordered this looking to replace a 10+ year old 3-bulb headlamp based on praise on this product from my neighbor. The wide beam floods your workspace with even light, making it perfect for camping or work in low-light situations.I didn’t read the instructions, and stumbled on the hands-free motion sensor. It’s a great feature, especially if you hands are full or dirty (you can just wave nearby the sensor to turn the light setting you have on and off). If you’re walking through a arrow door or near any object at head level, the sensor will pick it up and turn the light on/off.There are six different light modes, including high/low brightness and red light for night vision. I’ve really just used high/low and flood & spotlight so far. I could see the red light being useful for certain applications, maybe stargazing/telescope.I plan to use the light hunting/camping, so I was going back and forth on the the rechargeable USB feature as I was considering the backup option of having batteries available. The pack comes with two, so I’m treating that as my backup option, and will just supplement my pack with a portable USB charger, which I was planning on anyway.The adjustable headband fits comfortably on my forehead and hat. The only downside was that when wearing a ballcap, the wide beam was blocked by the hat’s brim, so it really works best when worn directly on your head. The only other downside was the lack of an adjustable beam. When walking, it would be nice to be able to aim the beam down to the ground and not have to tilt your head down at such an angle.Given the minor downsides, I ordered a 2-pack on sale at 22% off, and it is really useful for most applications around the house/car.

When I got the box, there was a huge rip going through it. When I opened it, there was only ONE headlamp. I’ve never had this happen to me before. Thankfully through amazon customer service I was able to get a refund or the option of a replacement. I think this product was returned and it wasn’t checked before sending it to me. The picture shows what I received.Otherwise, the headlamp is great. I wanted this bc I’ve tried other similar companies with band headlamps. Sooo useful especially when for night fishing, camping, working on cars, night runs. I especially like the fact it has a red light mode which is very useful for camping trips. If I had actually received two, it would be great value for money. I don’t know about the battery life yet, but there is a protected usbc charging port. Fit: it’s adjustable.

Initial Review
These are great and provide amazing lighting options. I’ve been using while working on my cars and for walks with the dogs. These will be part of all my various camping, hunting and fishing packs.Two items of note which could be cons.1. If you wear these just on your head (not over a hat or bandana, the rubber/elastic band does get a little sweaty at least for me. Others may not experience the same issue. I prefer to wear with a hat.2. They need to design in a button too simply turn on and off and remember your last setting. If you like a certain setting, such as the such as the low level beam, you have to cycle through all the various lighting options to get to your desired option. This is a very bad thing if you are in hunting situation and want to jump right to the red light. The motion activation does this but I find the motion activation a bit annoying since moths easily trigger the light to turn off.Overall, I’m impressed by the brightness and build quality.
