Floods the work area in bright white light
I got this 3-pack as stocking stuffers for my husband and sons. They’ve all used other headlamps in the past, and they LOVED these by comparison and started using them right away. Instead of a single headlamp beam that you have to aim, this headband floods the whole work area with bright white light. Installing a new kitchen faucet? The entire cabinet under the sink was lit up like daylight. Changing the oil? The whole engine bay was revealed! The only down side is when two people are working together, the light from the band is pretty blinding, but in that case you can use the side spotlight.

Definitely enjoy how bright this light can be. You have different brightness options. It has a great battery life. It doesn’t take long to recharge. I’ve used in low light work conditions, while working on my car, on walking/hiking trails, etc. Definitely recommend.

I like these cob lights as they are bright and don’t become too heavy after a while. I hope that the charge lasts better than another type of LED cob headlamp that I purchased. Looking at reviews of several similar headlamps, I noticed that some had difficulties with the LED strip coming loose and peeling off. I opted for these because it appears that the strips on these are held in by two strips of the headlamp band materials. These are bright but lack much concentrated light unless you choose the mode that turns the beam light on. The motion sensor is nice in an open area. Otherwise, just passing by a door or other object that is close by can turn the light off/on. The charge port is easily accessible and uses the common USB C cord/plug. It says there are 5 modes but note that they count “Off” as being one of them. Either that or mine don’t work on one of the modes. The straps are adjustable. I did not find wearing the light to be uncomfortable. They come with clips to use for hardhats, and I suppose ballcaps, but I don’t wear hardhats so I cannot review that part. These were on sale when I ordered them, so I found the price for a 3-pack reasonable. Made in China.

Not as bright as I expected. My other single spotlight headlamp is better.
Unfortunately, upon the first use last night, although the design gives a broad width of light in front of your head, it’s surprisingly NOT as bright as I thought it would be. If you look straight into the LEDs, it seems blindingly bright, but when you wear the headlamp and do outdoor chores in the pitch dark, the light is not nearly as bright as my other brand headlamp that just has a single spotlight LED lens in the front. Consequently, I did not find these headlamps as useful and was almost thinking about returning them, but may just keep them on hand as a backup if something happens to my main headlamp. I will definitely not be using these as my main headlamp, simply because they lack the brightness I need.Also, I may have made an ordering mistake, as there may be two different sizes, and I may have accidentally ordered the larger size that’s supposed to fit over a helmet, so even on the smallest size setting, it’s still very loose fitting on my head and slips down. I give them an average rating, but will probably not order them again.

Great purchase! These lights are awesome. I have used them a dozen times around the house. USB C for charging. The auto mode in which you wave you next to your head with the light sensor turns it on was a great idea.
