Camel Back Hydration Backpack
item is exactly as described & pictured! I got this for work when i’m too busy to take break for drinks & outside in summer in the go! so far so good no leaks, no spilling, bladder didn’t seem to “sweat”, insulation pack keeps it cool for hours i did 1/2 ice 1/2 water later me all day! I do love the mouth piece cover but you do get better suction when removed & only used to keep it clean!

Great Pack!
I didn’t want to spend too much on my first pack for a long hiking weekend with friends because I didn’t know if I’d use it or hike that often. I also needed something that packs small. Turns out that trip I became addicted to hiking and use it regularly now. It’s great! I can really get whatever I need in it. The zipper pouch is small but even if I have something larger I can cable it to the outside with no issue.I don’t even have to clip it in front very often for any reason. Very comfortable and easy to use.I had to learn to pull up to get the mouthpiece working. I worried at first that I got a defective pack. I suggest testing before your first hike so you have time to look into it if you can’t figure that out.The only thing that CAN BE a challenge but I imagine its that way for all packs is when it’s time to put away, getting it completely dry to prevent mold growth. You can remove the bladder and all of the hose components but I had it sitting out maybe a week trying to get it certainly dry. Not a problem though!

Not bad for what I paid, but could use some improvements
Works well for what I paid, no leaks easy to drink from and can pack everything I need in the one pocket. Have packed it full a few times but the less in it the lighter it is, I use this on bike rides so it’s nice and slim. No rips or tears so far, however it is hot to wear if when biking would be nice it it was more breathable as the water does not stay cool. It’s a pain to refill, you need to completely remove the bag to fill as there is no quick access to the fill cap

Works great as a hydration pack for runners
I was looking for a “minimalist” hydration pack for running, and this sure fits the bill. I ran for years without having a source of water, and carrying a water bottle just isn’t practical for me. Now, I’m not so leery about running on hot days. With the easily adjustable chest and waist straps, it fits comfortably with no unwanted movement when running. Other than hearing the ice cubes sloshing back and forth, I don’t even know it’s there. The bite valve gives excellent, unobstructed water flow. I was opening and then closing the bite valve at first, but now I just leave it open all the time. Nothing ever leaks out. After running, I just use a soapy washcloth to lightly scrub the padded back section, and it dries in no time. I only ever use water in the bladder, and I always store it in the refrigerator, so never any worries with it getting funky. For long term storage, I’ll probably dry all of the water out of it to be safe.

Package arrived on time in perfect condition. The bag is the perfect size. I wanted a bag with the water bladder but I wanted one with more than just that one pocket. This one has 3 other compartments! 2 side pockets for smaller bottles, sunscreen,bug spray etc. It does come with the water bladder and mouth hose but I ordered an additional one in case. The bag is lightweight and has the rain cover on the bottom compartment of the bag as advertised. It essentially looks like a huge shower cap but for your bag. I cleaned the water bladder with warm water and dish soap and shook around and rinsed out while the mouth tube was removed ( I also washed this with soap and water). I placed several paper towels in the cleaned water bladder and left overnight to soak up any and all moisture in it to prevent mold. I have yet to use it as it was just delivered but will be using very soon for kayak, fishing and hiking trips!

Perfect, save money and get this instead of a Camelbak!
We went on a more outdoorsy vacation and the last time hiking with friends we realized that carrying water in bottles was just not worth it, plus we wanted to ensure we had enough water in case something bad happened. Each pouch carries 2 L’s and everything works great! Highly recommending when purchasing these type of products to invest in some cleaning products, I know we will be only using them for water, but if you do want to put other beverages in them the cleaning products will be a must!

Great product wished I’d learned about it when first got into jogging but water bladder only lasted a month before it sprung a leak I would expect that if I over filled it which isn’t necessary in the process of reordering a replacement bladder

Great product for Florida weather
My son is in band camp in Central Florida. This is a great product to make sure to keep hydrated. Easy to use. Fill up has been pretty easy to fill up with no spills or tip over.

I only tried the pack at home. Not on a mountain bike ride. So i cant attest to that yet. But its comfortable and i think it will be good. The bladder on the other hand wrinkled like paper after first wash and it scratches easily. It doesnt say what its made out of. So is it really free of BPA and other leaching compounds? It doesnt smell like plastic at least. That being said i saw that the tube has black spots in it. I wrote to the company and although they agreed to send another tube right from the start it wasnt the best experience. This company is based in China. They couldnt find my order and got confused thinking i was talking about a tent even though they agreed to send me a tube for a hydration pack in the first place. It went back and forth for a few days. In the end they said they would send me a tube and it would take at least 2 weeks because its coming from china. Its too bad because after all this, I wont be using the bladder anyways. I just dont trust the material of the bladder and tube at this point. So i guess its a good review for the pack only. Because i would of sent it all back if it wasnt so comfortable for the price. I just ordered some other bladder and hopefully it works with this pack.
