Love this. The screen is perfect, backlight is adjustable, the colors are great, the page turning effect is perfect, and its weight is perfect! 10/10 recommend. Turned this page turning paperback/hardcover reader into a kindle girl!

I’ve had a few kindles, and I did wait to purchase this until they started replacing the initial launch. I LOVE love love this Kindle! I’ve always wanted to see my covers in color, and so happy this is an option now. The ability to highlight in different colors is fun, and the battery lasts SO long. Honestly as long as my Kindle Oasis. I’m honestly so surprised by the battery life every time I flip my cover to start reading. It was a fabulous purchase and I’m so happy I made the splurge for this.I bought the bundle that came with wireless charging, although, I have not utilized the wireless charging yet. I hardly have to charge it so I just plug it in when I’m walking by a cord and think about it.

I’ve had something like 4 or 5 kindles, and this *is* the best of them. I knocked it down by a star because I was underwhelmed by the color features:1. the marketing makes the color look far more vibrant than is visible on the actual device in any light conditions or settings.2. I decided to get the color version in the hopes that it would be useful for reading graphic novels, but while the color is good enough, the screen isn’t large enough and it isn’t high enough resolution for that purpose, and the zoom function is too awkward and slow to be a pleasant experience.
