a relatively expensive add-on, but a very solid bite valve and hose. I’ve had a lot of trouble with camelbak bite valves leaking at one end or the other. the design of the platypus bags, hoses, and valves is defintely superior.

Tip for use with Smart Water bottles
I bought this tube to use with smart water bottles while backpacking. I’m not a fan of bottle holders on my pack straps. The bottles need to sit upside-down in my side pockets for this tube to work. The problem is it leaks….unless you remove the safety ring from the smart water bottle.So far, so good!

Very smelly product
I bought this hose as a replacement for an old one. Functionally it is fine but it smells very strongly of laundry detergent. It is so strong, the smell has filled my home. I tried washing it with vinegar, baking soda and Dawn but that did not get rid of the smell. I use scent free everything and was planning to use this while out hunting but cannot because of the smell. I would not recommend this hose due to this strong scent.

I have had a platapus hydration system for over 10 years. I had extra reservoirs and needed a tube that would fit the older system. Great product and reasonable price. This will get me through until I need to upgrade entire system.

Perfect for backpacking!
Got this for my teenage son. He is training for a backpacking trip and is using this with a 2 L playpus water bottle. It makes it easy for him to drink water while he keeps moving!

Not brilliant, ended up cannibalizing it for parts which rather an expensive way to do things, didn’t like the mouth piece, leaks if gets knocked or trapped when set pack down, pack clip ok but flimsy. will not buy. again.

Ich habe bereits zwei dieser Trinkschläuch und nun diesen für meinen Sohn bestellt. Leider wurde der Clip zum BEfestigen verändert. Vorher war da eine Klammer, die man sehr leicht auch im Laufen am Rucksack befestigen und zum Trinken abmachen konnte. Mit diesem neuen Clip ist das nur mit viel gefummel möglich. SEHR SCHADE!

価格は安めで1500円程度ホースの臭みの無さ自分はエバニュー2Lに付けて山に持っていきますペットボトルはべこべこするので向いてません以前使ってた安物のハイドレーションは匂いが強かったので、こちらを使うと臭みの無さに感動しました。ただ一つ注意点。吸い口はゴムを噛んで開くタイプでロック機構は一切ありません。休憩時、吸い口の上にザックを置いてしまい、口が開いて濡らしてしまいました。また繋げたままホースごとザックに入れた場合、吸い口が潰れると中で漏れる恐れがありそうです。吸い口はゴムの圧力で閉まってるだけなので、簡単に吸えるんですが、その点は注意が必要です。ですが、いちいちボトルを出さずに水分補給出来るのは最高です。夏の登山には必須。これだけで気分が高まるし、楽しい道具です。使用後は軽く洗ってウォーターキャリーと一緒に冷凍保存。これで雑菌はわきません。

First time using the new tube with mouthpiece was 32 days after purchased, it leaked and we could not get it to stop dripping. Slow steady drip but when it is laid on its side. to head to our destination it soaked our gear. Very disappointed. There is no returns after 30 days and no contact info to voice your complaint.
