Nice mug but the machine would not turn on.
Well, what to expect at this price.. got it rinsed off and ready to go, coffee grounds in place and water in the tank and it wouldn’t turn on. Returned it; Too bad .. because the mug is very nice, appears smaller than in the picture. I really want a single serve coffee maker though!

Nice and compact, 10oz capacity, includes travel mug but it’s not metal and pad doesn’t keep warm
Overall, I think this is a very good little drip coffee maker for easily brewing the perfect amount for a cup on the go. It is compact in all dimensions with no wasted space and includes a cute little travel mug with its own easy to seal/unseal lid. It brewed a nice clean cup of coffee for me. The only two things that they should change is that the travel mug really should be insulated stainless steel, as it appears to be in the listing, and the pad at the bottom of the coffee maker should keep the coffee warm until you turn it off. But seeing as how the main use for this is to brew a quick cup to have right away or take in the to-go mug, not keeping it warm is not as big of a problem.

Brews fast, but details matter
This coffeemaker does make a decent cup of coffee. I have used both a fancier Italian roasted bean that a friend gifted me as well as our standard grocery store brand to brew cups. Both turned out not quite as good as our Capresso machine. But I wasn’t expecting better than Mr. Coffee either.This includes all you need to brew a cup of coffee. A reusable filter basket that is not the pod type. This machine uses a small square basket. It has a little scoop for measuring, and a 10 oz mug that fits perfectly under the opening.This is the most basic coffeemakers I have seen in a while. It has an on/off switch only.You fill it, put the mug under, and turn it on.What makes this machine less than five stars is that the base has no heating coil, so if you do not get to your mug right away and put the lid onto the travel mug, it goes cold pretty fast.I have used a coffee mug that sits in a stable way over where the warming plate would be to catch the coffee and had the same results. If you don’t get to it fast, it goes cold.The ad claims you can brew tea in this as well. I did not have great results with it. The tea came out weak. It is better to make it the old fashioned way in my opinion.While this coffeemaker is light and easy to take along with you, it us missing a very necessary feature. One that, considering it costs as much as a full sized low grade Mr.Coffee machine, should be there.The lack of the warming plate at such a price makes this a three star for me.
