Very well made and BEAUTIFUL
Excellent quallity !! Heavy duty & has a feel like it won’t fall apart. Nice and solid in your hand and doesn’t seem to twist with a gust of wind. LOVE the “Clouds” up inside of it. So pretty. The open/close mechanism work VERY SMOOTH !! I think I’m going to put my first name and number on it maybe hanging a tag somehow on the handle so if I happen to leave it somewhere maybe I’ll get lucky and get a phone call from someone so I can pick it up from them, I sure don’t want to loose it because I reall like it !!

STRONG & STURDY BUT HEAVY
This is a well built, sturdy and strong umbrella. The colors are true to the picture online, but the metal spines and handle are fairly thick which makes it very sturdy and there’s no way it would turn inside out in windy weather. For me, though, this makes it heavy and when you close it down to fit in closed position with the prongs inside the handle it was impossible for me to do so. I am 5’2″ but I do lift weights 5 times a week so am not a weakling. Maybe it’s just because I am short. My adult son had to close it for me completely; I couldn’t do it. Otherwise, it works very well. The auto open and close is fast and easy to do by the push of a button on the handle. It’s just getting it completely closed is a struggle for me. Love the colors. I reiterate, the heavy spine and handle make it a heavier-than-normal umbrella to carry closed or open. So because of these cons for me, I returned it. That was why I only gave it 4 stars.

Great Quality for the Price
I’m really impressed with this Rain-Mate umbrella! It opened with one button click, the canopy feels solid and large enough, and even in a pretty windy downpour it didn’t invert or feel flimsy. The handle is comfortable and it folds down compactly fits easily in my bag.

This is my first umbrella i bought and it feels quality to the touch but it’s not very durable in light winds; however, It has the ability to invert itself in that event to keep rain away while holding its metal rods in place with what looks to be some type of spring encased system that actually looks good and more safe compared to outdated umbrellas without it. If your umbrella has ever inverted in heavy winds with its shape, metal legs sticking out, than you know what i’m talking about. Because it gave way so quickly for a first time used in light rain and winds; I can’t give this a 5 stars. My umbrella flipping inside out should not be the highlight of why i bought it. The inverted technology used should be a welcomed bonus and not the main feature. I want my umbrella to look and feel like an umbrella. The inverted system that flips the umbrella should be retested to only give in intense wind situations. It’s a small complain but i would like to see it improved as it is embarrassing to have my umbrella inverted luke that than hard to readjust after the fact. I also was confused at the protective holder that blended in making it hard to open the umbrella until I realized what it was. It’s a nice add-on but it should be more noticeable for those who have bad eye sight like me for example. If you’re looking for a quality feeling umbrella that has decent rain resistance at an affordable price for yourself or a friend then I recommend it as a good beginner umbrella.
