Exceeded expectations
Fantastic camping stove. Ignited and worked extremely well and better than I anticipated. No issues with igniting or using either propane or butane. Came with necessary accessories, instructions and a carrying case. The case makes a nice wind blocker as well. For the price, this is a great value and efficient stove for traveling, camping or simply backyard cooking.

Very good for everything
The SHINESTAR Dual Fuel Stove delivers an impressive balance of portability, versatility, and performance, making it a reliable companion for campers, hikers, and emergency preparedness. Designed to operate with both butane and propane, it offers unmatched flexibility in fuel choice—a key advantage for outdoor enthusiasts who value convenience and adaptability.Performance and PowerWith a maximum output of 7,800 BTUs, this stove provides enough heat to quickly boil water, fry, or sauté without unnecessary fuel waste. The flame control knob allows for smooth adjustments, from a gentle simmer to a full-power blast. Despite its compact size, it performs comparably to larger single-burner camp stoves.Design and Build QualityThe build feels solid and thoughtfully engineered. The portable design includes a carrying case that keeps everything organized and easy to transport. The propane adapter hose is a practical addition, allowing seamless switching between fuel types. The ignition system is dependable—lighting up instantly with the piezoelectric start—and the stable base prevents tipping during cooking.

Propane bottle adapter hose is great, long burn times vs butane bottles. Pan gets over 500 degrees
Works great, gets my flat cast iron griddle over 500 degrees. I love the hose adapter to use propane bottles, longer run times than the small butane bottles.

It’s a pretty nice stove
I bought this stove just as a picnic stove. I like that it will run on propane for colder weather . I have read that the hose gets very stiff in the cold I will try putting the hose in the fridge for a couple of hours and will check it before I count on it.. it comes in a very light plastic mostly to keep it dust free between uses. Don’t expect it to protect anything.. I wouldn’t even pack anything on top of it…The stove worked equally well on both fuel sourses.sources.. no flare ups or flame outs using either fuel..A quick word of caution is to make sure the stored propane hose doesn’t look like it belongs in there.. when I packed the stove with the hose under the cover plate .. it looks like it belongs there.. and just flip the plate over and light the burner with the hose in there.I retrieved the bag from the trash.. at least it will stand out..The butane system worked very smoothly but I did notice that I am able to lock the can in and light the stove without the grate on..And my last small hit on this stove is that the cooking grate is too wide for my 1 qt farberware pot.. same with the smaller coffee pot. I saw someone who used a metal cheap fan guard as a hack.. I had a small wire trivit.trivia.. it packs in the case.. and fits over the grate .The fit amd finish all look as I would expect from a utility cook top.I woild comfortably hold a 4 quart pot.. it would be sturdy enough..It’s not made for the rigors of real camping. (Coleman white gas) its for warming some snacks on the patio witj friends… it will be well suited for breakfast ..The burner is rated sat 7400 btu and a bottle of butane has about 12000 btus .. so figure in a can lasting about 2 hours.. less if using it on higher settings.Seems like it will earn a place on our adventures .. even if they are just in the yard right now.

We are very happy
We ended up really liking this. The quality is great, minus the case that it comes in. If its not already broken it surely will be sooner than later. Its a very thin and flimsy plastic. It can easily be stored in a reusable shopping bag or something like it. I didnt let that reflect the 5 star portion because it doesn’t impact the product itself. We love the product and would recommend.

Versatile and Reliable Camping Stove
This stove is a great addition to our camping gear. I love that it works with both butane and propane, which makes it super versatile depending on what fuel we have on hand. It’s compact, easy to set up, and cooks evenly without issues.Perfect for outdoor cooking, whether camping, tailgating, or just using in the backyard.

Lit on fire. Not a new stove user, fuel connected working fine 2 days then bam
I tested the stove and then the third day of using it on a trip it literally caught on fire. There was no good reason there is no odor of any fuel leaking it literally caught on fire and had to be thrown out because that is a huge risk.

Great apartment stove, in case of an emergency. Need enough fuel to match your expected power outages, floods, storms etc. I got a 25lb LP tank adapter long hose to go directly from the gas station propane tank to the stove, works perfect. Stove on the electric stove, with enough hose to reach the LP tank on the floor, great config. But for space and safety I store the liquid fuel in the house, ready to use quickly. You can pick up propane tanks any time from a gas station, Walmart, etc, good to have a couple, as the LP never goes bad, so you can store it forever, unlike gasoline, which you need to cycle through annually, its just too bulky and ugly to keep in the apt/house.

This camping burner does the job perfectly. It’s easy to use, the flame is strong and consistent, making it ideal for outdoor cooking. We took it on a camping trip, and my girlfriend even cooked Thai food on it—came out perfect! The adapter for a larger gas tank is a must-have if you plan to cook a lot. It lasts much longer and saves you from constantly swapping fuel. If you’re using the small gas cans, be sure to bring several—they run out quickly.Overall, a reliable and efficient burner for any camping trip!
