EXCELLENT, AS ADVERTISED. NEGATIVE REVIEWS DO NOT HOLD WATER!
I purchased these for kayaking and primitive camping. First, I haven’t run these britches through the paces yet, but it’s clear from the fabric that they will effectively shed water and stains due to what I researched is a special coating. Although not advertised as such, they will repel insects, as they do not hug the skin (unless you order a size too small), and the fabric is not loose-knit. The price is extremely reasonable, considering its important outer wear attributes: water repellent, breathable and – not mentioned – insect repellent, IF not worn tightly. Ordering clothing online is always a big risk in terms of fit, so I avoid it. However, I needed pants designed for a specific purpose. These were a fraction of the cost charged by stores specializing in outdoor wear. The large fits perfectly and is extremely flattering as advertised. I’m 69, slightly over 5’5″, weigh 140 lbs. With a waist measuring 32″, and bottom 39″, clothing can make the difference in making me looking svelte or frumpy. I noticed that many of the negative reviews are meaningless: 1. “Weak seams”: I pulled and pulled the seams, and found them very secure. 2. Front button “falling off”. There is no front button; it is a hook and bar closure that could not possible fall off unless a large chunk of (this particular fabric) was cut off. 3. “Rough fabric”. No way. These are very smooth. 4. Someone received “wrong color and size”. That’s a review of the seller and has nothing to do with reviewing these pants. 5. Complaint about the “buttonS”. There are no buttons. 6. “Thin fabric”. The fabric has to be thin to be breathable. 7. “Not breathable”. Nylon and spandex ARE breathable materials. However, if this woman is wearing a size too small, and the fabric is tight and hugs her skin, the material will NOT be breathable, and will also NOT be effective against insects, as they will bite right through the material. 9. “Material rips easily”. Not so. I stretched and pulled this material and the material itself is strong and elastic. It is not a loose knit like cotton, which could pull apart. If you expose it to sharp objects, such as a sharp branch, it could indeed puncture and then rip. But, virtually any fabric will do that. 10. “Too expensive”. For this price?! You could go through 3-4 of these for one pair at a big name sports store. Be realistic.These are absolutely spurious claims, and as often happens with Amazon reviews, I think some may be referring to a different product. If only Amazon would remove reviews that are obviously not meant for a specific product (e.g., regarding “shoes” for these pants), the ratings would change.I highly recommend these pants!

My favorite work pants
Oh man where do I start!! I work in health care and was waiting by for our new pants to come in and decided it was taking too long. These are so flipping comfortable and better I don’t think I’ll ever wear the ones my job paid for. It’s lightweight comfortable as all heck zippers and quality are excellent and it just looks great on! The only thing I’m not a fan of is the insignia on the pocket I can easily fix this though. they have another hiking pants with drawstring that has no logo so I might have to try those out as well but they have less pockets. 150% recommend

Great for anything and everything!
I’m obsessed with these pants. They’re so comfortable and lightweight while still being quite durable. I bought them specifically for work (Aldi) but I find them so perfect I wear them constantly outside of work now too! Hiking, biking, cleaning, running errands – they’re super versatile. The pocket lining is the only thing I’m not huge on, it’s netting that can rip (just from keys really) and is tough to fix, but the rest of the product is so awesome it doesn’t even matter that much. Also awesome that they have belt loops. Couldn’t recommend these pants enough – esp if you work at Aldi or similar 😆

Different color, same size, different fit
I initially ordered these pants in the color grey. I LOVE them. For reference, I am 5’3 ~125lbs and I ordered a size small. I was really looking for a quick-dry lightweight pant for working near water in the summer. Moreover, I really wanted a pair of pants that were also flattering. These pants in the color grey are perfect- they are loose where they should be and slightly more fitted where necessary. They don’t look baggy or slumpy, the material is very comfortable and flexible. All in all, they fit perfectly. So, I ordered the same pants in two more colors.When I received my 2nd and 3rd pairs of pants in size small, colors black and khaki – I was very disappointed. They do not fit remotely the same as the first grey pair I ordered. The material feels different(scratchy, thicker, less breathable) and even though they are the same size – they fit as if they’re a size larger and look and feel way too big on me.I guess I will just stick to the same color because the grey pair worked out so well but I’m very disappointed that I can’t have multiple colors with the same fit.

Best pants ever!
I love these pants. I’ve been looking for something like these for a long time. I carry my weight in my boobs and tummy and I have long skinny legs. I knew they wouldn’t be skinny tight on my legs which was fine (because they’re not leggings) but I didn’t want them to be super baggy either. I have to buy bigger sizes to fit my middle. Usually I’ll end up taking pants to a seamstress to alter them so they fit better. This time I decided to buy a size down because I felt lucky haha 😆 I’m so glad I did! They fit PERFECTLY!!! Now I’m going to order in multiple colors because I work in a lab and they’re almost like a really nice pair of scrubs. Couldn’t be happier!!

Fabulous hiking pant and they make great scrub pants too.
These pants are awesome! I purchased them for hiking but they’ve also ended up being used as scrub pants. These have have a perfect amount of pockets, fast drying material and very comfortable for extended wear times. The material is not noisy like some of the other quick dry hiking pants I’ve purchased in the past. I typically weare a US Women size 14 in jeans, but I took my measurements and went by the size guide povided. Per the giude I ended up with the XXL which while they fit they’re on the looser side. I will definitely buy again but size down.
