    Great Sleeping Bag
Extremely durable, warm, comfortable and roomy. Love this bag for my camping and hunting trips. Bought another for my girlfriend and she loves it too. Great bargain. Easy to roll up and store or pack.

Built Like a Tank, Warm as a Furnace
This sleeping bag is no joke. The Teton Deer Hunter -35 is heavy and bulky, but that’s the trade-off for serious warmth. I used it on a late-season hunting trip with single-digit temps and stayed completely comfortable in just a base layer. Zipper runs smooth, lining feels soft, and there were zero cold spots all night.Pros:   •   Incredibly warm, even in subzero temps   •   Roomy and comfortable   •   Durable build and smooth zipperCons:   •   Large and heavy, not for backpacking   •   Takes up a lot of storage spaceIf you’re camping or hunting in real winter weather, this bag is a lifesaver. Not for ultralight hikers, but unbeatable for cold-weather base camps.

Absolutely the best extreme cold weather bag for your money!!!
Excellent bag well worth the money! Forget about the cheaper quality Colman and Stansport brands that have weak insulation and seams that are already splitting out of box! THIS is the real deal! This is my second bag. The first one like it I’ve used weekly and most days of the week as a trucker. When I was long haul I used it everyday as a bag or pillow top mattress top in summer. My original purchase I’ve used since 8/2017 and I would STILL be using it if I hadn’t burned it in a large size commercial dryer! 😩😩😩😩😩😩 I always washed and dried at a coin op laundry but all the EXTRA LARGE dryers were in use so I tried a large size dryer. Bad choice. I loved tgat bag, so warm and soft with that flannel yet well made to with stand daily use. If you’re shopping fir one fir regular use you’ll be happy with this bag. If you’re buying it for occasional yearly camping trips then your kids will get it after you kick off because it’ll still be working great ! I once broke down on interstate 80 in between Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming and since the truck wouldn’t run i had no heat. It was January and the Wyoming winds had it down to NEGATIVE 20 DEGREES Fahrenheit with the wind chill! I had to wait a few hours fir a tow truck but my dog and I were saved and stayed warm inside this bag until the wrecker arrived. Im telling you, the bag kept us WARM in those life threatening temps. This bag is the real deal. Don’t be a cheap skate, pony up the extra coin and ypu won’t be disappointed. REMEMBER, DRY IN EXTRA LARGE DRYER OR HANG TO DRY ONLY!!!! BTW, this is NOT a back packing bag, its ideal for vehicular camping, bunk house or cabin or hunting camp tent situation. Heavy as he’ll so not something to tote on your back. Did I mention this bag is excellent? Lol!

    Definitely works
I car camp in the Rockies for ski season during Winter. Around 10,000’. Have used this twice (-35F model) in below freezing temperatures. First night -2F, and -9F second night. Was warm and cozy until I had to get up to pee. Definitely works well for very cold temps so far. I do use a camping pad underneath. The little pocket on the outside is good for keeping phone warm. It’s big and heavy, so not a bag for hiking unless you’re a Navy Seal or something like that. My only gripe is the zipper sometimes takes a bit to get going. But it’s a solid zipper no doubt. All of the materials seem of good quality. The canvas outer also seems very durable. If you needing a cold weather bag and eyeing this one up, go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

    Big and warm
This is the best sleeping bag ive ever owned. Large enough to fit two people (snuggly) and tall enough to completely cover me. Im 6 ft tall and it still covers my face with excess. Also extremely warm, tested it overnight in a snowstorm with just a tarp overhead. It kept me warm all night and completely dry. Only complaint is that the zipper can be frustrating, it likes to bind and snag.

Excellent cold weather bag which truly lives up to its billing
My family and I go camping about four times a year and I freeze my butt off if the temperature drops below about 45 F. In the past I have tried several different bags promising to keep you warm at 20 F or 0 F only to find I am still shivering at 40 deg F. And when my sleep is miserable then so is my trip. Decided to give this Teton Sports DeerHunter model a try because I like rectangular bags (especially the rare ones that have drawstring curved hoods) and this bag has a survival rating of -35 F. The bag is also not crazy expensive like many expedition rated mummy bags that advertise terrific warmth at very low temperatures but weigh only five pounds and cost $300 plus.Amazon delivered the DeerHunter to me a week later and I unfolded it from the supplied carrying bag. My first impression was that it was thick. Very thick. And it weighs about 16 pounds (7.3 Kg), so definitely more of a bag for car camping or longer term hunting trips than for the expedition style camper. The bag also has heavy duty zippers and inner and outer pockets to hold cell phones, wallets, etc.. A great mummy style hood with drawstrings that can be pulled up tight around the head. This bag is hand wash only (and Teton recommends watching the video on their website first if you plan to hand wash it) which at first seems like a deal killer but the reason is that any washing machine will compress the synthetic insulation too much, causing the bag to lose a bit of its heat retaining characteristics. The same is true of storing the bag too tightly compressed for many months.Crazy as it may sound, upon receiving the DeerHunter, I took it to my friend’s cousin who owns a meat packing shop with large walk in style freezers. I asked him if I could try the bag in the freezer overnight. He said something in Italian about me being crazy but made sure the door could be opened from the inside and set up the temperature control to begin at 0 F and then move slowly down to -20 F over the next five hours. (we could not set the temperature to -35 F which is the survival rating of this bag – the freezer only went to -20 F) I made sure I had adequate oxygen in the room and then set up my cot at 11 PM and went to sleep. (When I camp, I use a cot about 8 inches off the ground, a closed cell foam sleeping pad and then my bag on top of that) At 0 F, this bag worked excellent and I was still warm enough with my long underwear, blue jeans, flannel shirt and jacket on. By the time the temp got down to -20 F, I felt pretty chilled (not enough to be truly miserable but enough to affect sleeping). I slipped on my two extra layers of fleece I had in the bag beside my body and went back to sleep. It was not great sleep, but I did get back to sleep (the air was so cold that I did notice it at my throat but I still went back to sleep). I don’t know how well this bag would work on frozen soil without a cot or sleeping pad, but for my style of camping, I was pretty impressed that it allowed sleep at -20 F.In short, this bag probably does live up to its claims which is that if you are warmly dressed in multiple layers, you can survive the night at around -30 to -40 deg F. It is well built and includes a nice carrying bag with handles. For the $135 I paid for it, excellent bag and highly recommend. Five stars.

Bought the -18*C rated bag. Very good quality bag, inside is soft, bag is warm. Research what temperature you will actually use the bag at. I tested this one down to -4*C and was very comfortable. I don’t plan on sleeping in much colder than that, if you do then buy the colder rated Teton sleeping bag. I enjoyed the draw string around the head area, it kept the bag shaped at the top to keep my heat in and my pillow secure. The brown water resistant shell worked well too alongside a cold wet tent wall, it did not absorb any water on the 7 nights I tented outside with this bag. ***Long term update – been using this for 5 years worth of hunting trips now and no regrets. Still functions like new.

La textura de la tela exterior es horrible, pica, raspa y se siente tan barata como una envoltura desechable.

These sleeping bags are great! I got a left and a right zip for my partner and I. We zipped our air mattresses inside with a fleece liner for a fall camping trip in the Alberta Rockies in Canada. We had rain and snow and the weather got to a low of -2°C. We used a summer tent with a Lil Buddy Heater and only had the heater on for jumping into bed. These sleeping bags were very roomy and comfortable. We were also on a raised cot and I would highly recommend these sleeping bags for anyone looking for a good sleeping bag for cooler Temps. Have yet to test it to its full max of -18°C but it was very toasty with the liner at -2°C.
