Dear Annelies,This is a 5 star product in every sense of the word. The umbrellas is built strong, yet aesthetic and will serve my purposes for a very long time.With the letter you sent along with the package you said that if I ever have a problem with the umbrella drop you a note on your customer service support line and you’ll send me another one!!!!I’m not writing you on your support line because there is anything wrong with my umbrella.I’m writing to say thank you!!!!I’m in Los Angeles where it truthfully only rains a few times a year, if that. We are a desert.However, over the last few days we’ve had a rain storm, pretty significant for this town. And my umbrella quit functioning.Of course I went to Amazon, I looked around and I found your Tumella and was instantly impressed by the video of the wind tunnel and the umbrella’s strength. Again, not that I need a heavy duty umbrella, it only rains a little in Los Angeles.But I was impressed with how far you went in trying to make a very good product. Something better, more durable, more reliable than the mass market. You wanted to be better than the rest for the sake of the customer!!! This stuck with me.So I purchased it. And by the time it arrived we were still experiencing rain and I got to use my Tumella to my sheer delight. It works perfectly.But all of the above is the lesser reason of why I am writing to you.The envelope you included with the umbrella was so fantastically cute and adorable, I was instantly compelled to write to you.The letter, the font used, the picture of the family, your story of how and why you made this product, was so over the top cute I was thrilled at your extreme desire to make your customer happy. And the fact you were willing to send me a new one if this one somehow stopped performing…just melted me!!!!! This is so very unique in the age of fast, disposable, low quality merchandise. Such a breath of fresh air from an a commercial or industrial viewpoint.I have no idea who you are and I am, of course a total stranger to you. But you, your story, your product, your ability to make a superior product over the rest of the market, and your letter including your beautiful photo of your 5 kids!!! (Are those really all yours???) touched my very heart in a way that has not been done in a long time. Especially by a mass marketed product.Thank you for your product. Thank you for your human touch. Amazing umbrella!
Literally the best umbrella I’ve ever had. It’s super sturdy and built for strong wind too. Repels water well and doesn’t retain water and stay wet like some I’ve had before. The auto eject is a really nice feature. I’ve had mine for two years and still going strong. Also the designs are super crisp and clear and add a nice appeal to a gloomy day. The customer service is super quick and actually “hassle free”. My husband has one too and he loves it! It’s not too small to shield from the rain nor too big where it feels like a golf umbrella. Just right! Highly recommend.

Very sturdy umbrella!
This has to be one of the best (and sturdiest) mini umbrellas I’ve ever used! I have yet to have it turn inside-out due to wind, which was my biggest pet peeve with every single other umbrella I own. The design on the inside is BEAUTIFUL! It’s lightweight, easy to store, and the cover looks great with it, too!I was elated to find out that it’s a one-press button to open, and then it closes with the same button which is super convenient. It’s a little shorter than I’m used to, but it still works perfectly!

Good quality, bulky for the sizeo
Build is stronger than normal, it is a bit of a pain to put away because of the increased support causing more folds. The umbrella also started to struggle opening like the spring got a bit weak. Overal decent, was good for the rain. I did buy another during my trip that was same sized and less suport and was half the size while callapsed and had a brtter pouch so i ended up just using that the rest of the time.

Great umbrella with top tier customer service
I ordered 2 Tumella umbrellas back in March for my kids and they have exceeded my expectations! The designs are vibrant and beautiful. There are so many prints to choose from! The umbrella is very durable. It’s very portable and compact. It’s super smooth to open and close. The coverage is great for both children and adults. On top of all this, their customer service is top tier. Recently one of the umbrellas tips broke and the company sent me a replacement. The customer service representative was very attentive to the situation and very quick to respond. I reached out about my umbrella on a Tuesday and received my new replacement that Saturday (only 4 days later!!! Wow!) excellent excellent customer service. The representative followed up with each step (let me know it had shipped and reached out when it was delivered to make sure I was satisfied with the new umbrella. I will be ordering another for myself soon. If you get one expect to receive a ton on compliments on the beautiful design and be assured that you are spending your money on a quality umbrella with customer service that stands behind their product.

Outstanding Umbrella!
How do you buy an umbrella? One that covers you when it’s raining, and you don’t have to stand in the rain to close it before getting in the car or store. Of course if it holds up and doesn’t flip, that’s a bonus.I found Tumella and I can’t say enough good things about this umbrella! Just the right size! I never had an umbrella that closed with a button! We had a couple days without rain so I tried it out. It opened just right and then it closed but there was something that didn’t look right. I had read the story about the company and sent an email with my question. Customer service responded immediately with kind professionalism. They determined the problem from photos and sent a new umbrella within a couple days! Customer service followed up to make sure all was right. For my experience the quality of this umbrella just ranked higher than I can say. When you take a beautifully designed umbrella, that is sturdy beyond regular standards and then add great customer service, you have an outstanding product! Try one and see.

The umbrella looks nice, feels well built, and easy to use.Have used in sunny, windy, and rainy conditions – does a good job.A tiny amount of water gets through the wind vents under extremely heavy rain, but this can be mitigated by holding the umbrella at a steady angle. So far it’s a reasonable compromise considering how well it’s holding up during heavy rain and wind.

A great little brolly, which can stand up to the Edinburgh winds, which come from any direction. It is also stylish and fun and when its a horrible day you can just imagine yourself lying on the beach in the picture.There customer service is great as well, if you ever need to contact them.
