Beautiful Book
Interesting item to leave on the coffee table or patio for people to look at while sitting…. Much more informative than staring at our phones while “socializing”Keep in mind this is a book ABOUT maps… Not just a book OF maps. All of the pictures of maps (and there are ALL kinds of maps and charts covered) are great to look at, but each has several pages dedicated to sections of the map, while being surrounded by informative text blocks explaining said map in great detail.

so four stars for making any book at all with a bunch of beautiful maps in it
A little threadbare for its size, but there aren’t a lot of options for map lovers out there, so four stars for making any book at all with a bunch of beautiful maps in it.

Volume molto bello sia dal punto di vista della qualità della rilegatura e della carta che delle immagini riprodotte . Il testo riesce ad essere sintetico senza essere mai banale , permette di scoprire molti spunti interessanti e stimola a ulteriori approfondimenti.

In this day and age we only look at our phones for directions and planning our trips, and never open a map. The young generation doesn’t know how to navigate using a paper map, they probably don’t own a paper map of any kind. Look back at the beautiful works of art, that map makes used make over the years.
