Great addition to your camping supplies.
First camping trip but very successful due toThis fantastic stove. Lightweight durable and performed perfectly. I even like the color. What more could You ask for? Coleman is still a brand I trust. I grew up with it and knew I had to get one if I was going to get any camping stove

Very controllable burners.
I have used this on five camping trips and so far have been very pleased with it. The burners are easy to adjust from a low simmer to a blasting high. The carry handle is very sturdy and a nice addition compared to my older Coleman. The cooking surface has lots of room. If I have one concern is the metal seems a little lightweight. Time will tell on that. I am very satisfied with this stove. I highly recommend.

Great camp stove
Great stove! Bought to replace a 30 yr old Coleman stove. Great new features on this one. Used once so far on weekend camping trip. Knobs are nice and easy to light with the ignition button. The cast iron grates are great. I used carbon steel pan and regular stainless steel potand the cast iron grates maintain great heat. Used the flat insert to cook pancakes. I am glad I preseasoned before use. Highly recommend.

Fire! Good!
The Coleman Cascade 328 3-Burner Camping Stove has been a fantastic addition to my gear. Setup was quick and easy, and it works exactly as described. The burners provide strong, even heat, and having three of them makes cooking multiple items at once a breeze. It feels sturdy and well-made—definitely built to handle regular use outdoors. Whether you’re at the campsite or tailgating, this stove gets the job done reliably. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys outdoor cooking.

so far, so good
I have only unboxed it and tested it. So far, it looks like a great stove. All parts were included (comes with a AA battery). Instructions were easy to read. I think having it designed as a “carrying case” will be helpful.

coleman
Large enough for a big skillet
Bunnman –
Easy to set up and take down for storage, has a lock on it so it won’t open during transport. Easy to clean and the colour is true to the picture.

Great campstove.

I chose this camp stove specifically because of my need for simmering ability. Some propane stoves/burners can’t do a low-heat simmer. I’m happy to report this Coleman Cascade 18 can. The lowest heat setting is so low that some people might find it can be used for warming…perfect. Tiny blue flames come out of the burner at low setting. On maximum setting, its 8000 BTUs of heat might not be enough for authentic wok cooking, or for boiling big pots of water. But it’s enough for most cooking; 8000 BTUs equals about 2300 watts which is approximately the heat output of a large burner on an electric range. During daytime the flames are pretty much invisible – a sign of good burner design. But…like most other camp stoves, if you’re cooking in windy conditions, a lot of that heat will be wafted away, and it might extinguish the flame on the lowest heat settings. So you might need to find a way to screen the wind. The control knob gives good heat control, but it requires lots of turning…about 2.5 revolutions from off to full blast. You get maximum heat once the knob is turned up about halfway, any further turning doesn’t do anything. Still, I’m happy for the good control at low heat, which was my reason for purchase.Higher and lower heat is indicated by small + and – signs next to the knob which is not as clear as a tapered line that most burners use. It’s important to be easy to see because on this stove (like most other propane stoves), higher = counterclockwise turn, which is opposite of what you might expect. The rotary click igniter is a good design and works well, and is not as loud as most push-type barbecue igniters. The stove is fairly light construction but not flimsy. It’s about the size and weight of an electric hot plate. It’s not a tiny backpacking stove, it’s for camping and backyard use. The chrome-plated steel grate is decently thick and sturdy, it can hold quite a lot of weight. The stove’s sage green color is pleasant but I’d prefer the classic Coleman darker green, which epitomizes Coleman and camping to me.

Arrived in perfect shape – well packaged. I have been using various editions of Coleman stoves for 55 years and this stove is beautiful with some great improvements from the older ones I have. Fired up safely and effortlessly with 1 lb propane bottle. The cast-iron grills are fabulous and were easy to season – but as others have mentioned they are heavy and, practically, should be carried separately from the stove. The carrying case provided for the grills is excellent and will make the separate carrying/storing easy. The Coleman quality I expected; not disappointed. Excited to get out camping!

Used at a campout with 5 other adults. It worked great to support and cook for a,ll with a large frying pan. A cover for storage and transport would be great.
