My go to gimbal
This is my favorite tool for video. Packed with great features, well constructed, easy to use, and a long lasting battery. The carrying protective case is a plus. The Hohem Joy app is good and easy to use however it’s buggy with certain features like slow motion(I’m using when Samsung S25) however works fine with normal android camera app. I’m sure they will perfect it with further app updates.

Great product, but there is a nuance
This review is for the gimbal and the AI tracking sensor together.pros:1. High quality.2. Incredibly comfortable girth of the phone that does not press the buttons (see first 2 attached photos).3. Infinity yaw rotation and width angle of pitch rotation.4. AI tracking works really well when you are at least 2m (6ft) away from the camera.5. You can use all “freedom” of rotation on horizontal phone position.6. It can be used as a power bank, and should give you about 5000mAh for standard for smartphones (3.7V).cons:1. AI tracking cut your face when you are close to the phone – on the video call, for instance. Video is attached to demonstrate this.2. Sometimes the gimbal starts to vibrate very unpleasant and loudly when you touch the phone.3. In vertical phone position gimbal doesn’t let you use all pitch rotation – when my Pixel 6 centered it blocked to rotate screen down [3], if I lift phone up to fix it [4] it will block other side [5]. This doesn’t matter in most cases, but I want let you know.neutral, FYI:1. Don’t forget to balance [1] part, otherwise this motor gets hot really quick and gimbal turns off.2. Phone clips can be moved left-right and they don’t center your phone by default [2].my story:I originally bought this two devices for two purposes:* The first is to shoot photo spheres on the Pixel. I really love this mode. But it turned out that I spend much more time when using it, and the quality of gluing isn’t better. But I wasn’t upset – I have another use for it, and in general the device is very high quality and pleasant. I would like to use it.* The second purpose is to help me shoot videos and make video calls. I do it really often. but when I’m at a comfortable distance from the phone (outstretched hand), it cuts off part of my face, you can see it in the attached video. I consider this to be a significant defect in “AI” tracking and would like to return it. I’m upset that I have to do this.Overall, the gimbal is great, despite 2&3 pros. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for “AI” tracker.

スマホ用のジンバルって結構簡易なモデルが中心でしたが、コイツはカメラ用レベルで取付部をスマホクランプにした形のハイエンド品ですね。 耐荷重400gという殆どのスマホを余裕で対応するシステムで、一般的な200g台のスマホは余裕でぐるぐる回せます。 余裕がある分だけコントロールでの動きがスムーズになってます。 センター調整もちゃんと出来るので、スマホの位置で調整する必要がないのでオプションマウントなどでバランスがずれていても変な位置にスマホをずらす必要無し（スマホのUSB-C直挿しガンマイクを付けて重量バランスがずれていてもクランプ自体は中央のままで本体側の調整で対応可能） また、カメラのコントロールケーブルの様にケーブルを繋げるので回転でケーブルが絡まる心配低め。 操作はダイヤルとスティックがあるのでスムーズな追従が可能です。 三脚穴はクランプのプレート側部とグリップサイドにもあるのでここにアクセサリマウントが可能、距離の長い撮影でのビデオライトやガンマイクなどもOKですね。 ただ、本体部分のマウントは自由な首振りでの撮影には出来ないので、基本的にはブレ取りのみでの場合だけ使える感じになりますので、クランプ側の穴でライトorマイクのいずれかか、拡張アダプタな別途準備などで対応ですね。 値段的にエントリーモデルとそこまで違いは無いけど、機能性としては大きな違いがあり、端的に言ってコスパが非常に高い良アイテムですね。 本キットにはAI追尾ユニットが付いてませんが、別途購入で追加出来ます。 本体が良かったので中華通販で取り寄せましたが9000円位しました。 必要になるなら付いてるセットモデルを買った方がトータルではお安いです。 この追尾ユニットは磁石取付式で前向き、後ろ向きを自由に反転して装着できます。 ライトとしてもスマホ本体LEDよりは十分明るいライトでCCT/RGB切替が出来て本機の左ダイヤルで操作可能です。 そして、このユニットは単体でAI追尾が出来るのでアプリ導入無しに顔追従が可能となります。 スマホホルダにGoProをマウントするアダプタも出回っているので、組み合わせることで本機でアクションカム顔追尾をしたり出来るし、専用アプリであるHohemJoyを使わずに他の配信アプリを使用したままでも顔追尾が可能です。 海外のウェビナーなどの様にステージ上を歩き回ってアピールする様な撮影を一台で行う事が可能ですので、撮影要員が準備できないスモールビジネスや配信者はセットモデルも検討すると良いと思います。

I’m in the middle of trying to start a sports marketing career in University and these are excellent. I mean really excellent. They’re not cheap, but if you want to buy the best of the best I would recommend this company.I did a ton of research going into this because I needed to purchase a couple of these for my team, so I will simplify it quickly. The two best companies in the game are Hohem and DJI. DJI makes really portable and lightweight products, while Hohem makes heavy duty and feature-packed ones.This product has served me excellently. I’ve never used the app because I didn’t want my videos tracked by anyone else, and I think this has held up just as well nonetheless. The optional add-on AI camera works really well and it’s on sale all the time so you can get it for less than $50. I highly recommend it because it makes shooting by yourself so much easier.The battery life to these things is also excellent. They will easily outlast my phone on any filming day. They also attach easily to regular camera tripods if you want, because there is a screw in the base where the provided tripod is also attached. It charges fast too, in under a couple hours from completely empty. It uses a basic USB-C charging cable as well.Speaking of which, the tripod is amazing. Absolutely critical feature. When I am shooting I always have it attached to make the handle longer and easier to hold on to. Whenever I need to set it down, bang. Built in stand. Probably the best feature of this whole thing to be honest, I use it at least a couple times a shoot.The case is great too, makes this easy to transport and very safe. The gimbal itself is extremely sturdy and well built. I use an iPhone 15 Pro and it has no problem with the weight.One thing to point out as a recommendation for newbies using this – the first motor sometimes gets in the way of the camera when you are bobbing up and down, so I would recommend twisting it around to be facing you before you do complex movements – just a little tip!Overall this is incredibly easy to use and to pick up, I had all the basics figured out before I even opened the instruction manual. But definitely read the instruction manual, there are tons of pro tricks you can do with this thing that make it even better.If you are looking at one of these, just buy the best upfront. It will make the quality of your videos better, it will last the test of time, and it will keep your device safe. It is totally worth it and I own three now.
