This is a story of love, heartbreak, and eventual triumph, all centered around a piece of tech so good, it made me overlook its rough start. The saga began when my package arrived perfectly fine. It was the product box inside that told a different story. It was not what you would call “sealed.” It was open, slightly bulging, and clearly had been repackaged by someone who had never seen a box before. It was an art installation of packaging incompetence, and I feared for what lay within.Upon opening the bizarrely-packaged box, the gimbal itself appeared to be in good shape. But a deeper, more existential problem soon revealed itself. I mounted my phone, turned it on, and for a minute or two, it worked perfectly. Then, without warning, the gimbal would just give up on life. The motor would groan, and the phone would simply dangle loosely, swinging like a sad pendulum. It was a heart-wrenching sight. I had to go through the painstaking process of returning it and waiting for a replacement, which is why this wonderful piece of technology earns a four-star rating instead of a perfect five. The return process was smooth, but the emotional distress of having to wait for my new toy was a cinematic tragedy in itself.But then, the hero of our story arrived. A second, pristine box, sealed and untouched, holding the gimbal in perfect condition. It was a moment of pure relief, like finding your lost keys in the last place you looked. I unfolded it, and it was so compact and light it felt like a magic trick. The anti-shake technology promised a “silky smooth shooting experience,” and let me tell you, it delivered. I’ve been running, jumping, and filming my dog’s chaotic zoomies, and the footage is so stable you’d think I was on a crane. It’s truly a marvel of modern engineering.My favorite feature, by far, is the AI tracking. This little device has a brain. I pointed it at myself and did a little dance, and it followed me with a focus so intense I felt like a celebrity. The fact that it doesn’t need an app or Bluetooth is pure genius. It’s truly plug-and-play, and I am not a person who enjoys a complicated setup. It’s as if the gimbal is a loyal, silent assistant, always ready to follow my every move (or my dog’s).The adjustable fill light is a fantastic bonus. My poorly lit living room is no match for its 9 brightness levels, and I can now look like I have a professional lighting crew following me around. The 10-hour battery life means I can film all day and not worry about it dying in the middle of a crucial shot. I even tried leaving it on for 15 minutes to see if it would shut down, and sure enough, it did. This gimbal is smarter than my old smartphone.Despite the initial boxing snafu, this unnamed 3-axis gimbal stabilizer is a winner. It’s lightweight, portable, and filled with features that make creating professional-looking content surprisingly easy. My only regret is the time I lost waiting for the replacement. But now that it’s here, my videos are so stable, they could calm a raging sea.

The tracking is smooth, base is very light weight and it’s super easy to set up and use.
I’ve tried out other tracking phone holders and I have to say, this one was so simple to begin using. It comes with a USB-C type charging cable and charged up quickly. I was able to set my phone in landscape and portrait directions. It has a screw to tighten the holder to the phone, but you can also just rest your phone in the holder (with case attached) and begin. One comment I received from the friend I was talking with while using the 360 stand was that when the phone was placed in the portrait direction, they were able to hear a faint humming sound when the tracker was rotating to follow my movements. When I switched the phone on it’s side, they couldn’t hear the humming anymore.The base is super light and feels hollow which is good for if you want to attach this to the top of a tripod. There is a screw opening for connecting to the top of a tripod. Over all I felt that this item was well made, though light and hollow sounding (when you tap on the base), it did a fine job holding my phone at a good viewing angle and followed all of my movements without shaking the camera/phone around. It’s simplicity makes it a good value for the price.
