Perfect size
I ordered this Umbrella for our trip to Nashville, I was bummed it was showing rain the whole 5 days we were going to be there but nothing was going to stop me from walking down honky tonk bar hopping. We had a blast, I already have a large clear Umbrella but it’s too big for traveling and having to shove it somewhere when you go indoors is a hassle. This one is small compact has a wrist handle, good quality doesn’t feel like cheap plastic and a good price. The size is an average umbrella coverage, kept me dry except for my feet but no umbrella covers all. And best of all I could look up at all the city lights walking down Broadway and not miss a thing.

Fills the bill
I have a problem with balance, and with other umbrellas, I had to hold them over my face, and it affected my balance. With this one I can stand up straight. It comes down over my faceI can stand up straight and look out through the umbrella. It is sturdy too.

Good for commuters to stay safe
I got this umbrella for two reasons: 1. I am a commuter in a large city where automobiles try to run over pedestrians on a daily basis. It also rains a lot where I live, and umbrellas were taking away from my visibility to avoid the aforementioned cars. This helps me cross the street and still be able to see and stay dry. The second reason I got this was we were going on a trip where it rains a lot and I didn’t want my view impeded by an umbrella. I looked at every clear umbrella there was — and was amazed that they seemed more expensive than a regular umbrella. I ended up buying two different brands. The Totes one is better in quality and design than the other off brand. The size is perfect for one person, and two really could fit…if you felt like sharing your space. I found it easy to close/open and use the strap to wrap it up when done. My only complaint is that the top of the umbrella, where the spines are, started to rust or leave some sort of brownish/reddish stain where the hinges of the spines come together. It doesn’t impede my view as it is the very top…but it makes it look dirty. I am not sure why it did that. We were in a very rainy area and the umbrella was used for multiple days in a row. Perhaps it didn’t get enough time to dry out between uses.

Very well designed and practical
This is the best umbrella I’ve bought in a long time. I love the clear dome so that you can see around you and not feel the umbrella is blocking your view. Another plus is the way it closes, which is manual, although it opens automatically. The manual is much better because with other umbrellas that supposedly close automatically, you have the pull the wet umbrella firmly toward you in order to get it completely closed. With this umbrella, you can close it without exerting much effort, and you don’t get yourself all wet in the process.

Why you need a clear umbrella…
Sometimes the rain comes down hard and sideways. Angle it sideways so the rain doesn’t hit you but you can still see where you’re going and not crash into things.

Arrived in a very used condition, also terrible quality, the plastic was very thin and had a foggy substance. Metal was rusty.
