Solid tool
Ok, so its actually a 4.5 star review. The tool is solid and seems well built. Its a but stiff though, but some wd40 worked wonders. Now it slides much better and the pliers move smoother. The knife and other tools in the handle are very stiff and resist moving, and wd40 didn’t help in the slightest. It gets half a star off because of the crimper. Its placed normally for certain crimpers, but it took me a while to realize why. I haven’t seen a crimper like this since the military. It looks like a blasting cap crimper. The hole in the crimper, when squeezed shut, it too large for most electrical needs, unless what you’re crimping is so large it needs it, but in that case you may not get the leverage you need for a proper crimp. My guess is that the person who designed it did so with military crimpers, EOD ones in particular, and modeled this one off of those. It makes the odd spike make a lot more sense too.

Good price point
Tool quality:Feels nice and thick. It could use some oil to make it move smoothly Side strap isn’t very sturdy

Great multitool at a great price!
Great quality for the price, the “cone” tool, is so multifaceted and I wish more multitools had this tool included; can function as an ice pick, glass breaker, Marlin spike, or punch tool. Will be picking more up in the future! great option for edc, toolbox, tacklebox.

It’s like the Gerber, but less useful tools
I use my slide open Gerber daily for everything. Automotive, house work, outdoor work, everything. It gets used hard and put away wet. My first Gerber slide open multi-tool, including the pouch, lasted me 18 years, still works, but I decided to retire it. It’s in my “go bag.” What’s gotten on my nerves is every Gerber I’ve bought since then hasn’t been made the same. They’re flimsy and soft. The screw drivers break. The scissors get dull fast. Paying the Gerber price yearly gets real old. But having the slide open feature is a must for me. It’s so easy to grab them off of my belt with one hand and flick them open while holding something in your other hand, unlike all other fold open multi-tools.In comes this tool. For the price, I can afford to replace it yearly. However, it’s not nearly as useful.1. The wire strippers are good for 6 AWG to 4 AWG and that’s about it. I’d rather have plier jaws there that can grab bolt heads and such.2. The rope tool…what am I supposed to use that for? Maybe bending wire loops?3. Then there’s the pick tool. It’s big, in the way, and not useful at all. Any time you go to use the pliers it flips partially open because you can’t help but hit it with your fingers. It’s a pain and I’m about to use a buzz wheel and cut it off. Or shorten it and form it into a lock pick. What is it’s purpose? Scribing on trees?4. It needs scissors. Those are one of the most useful tools on the Gerber. There’s a gap in the fold open slots that would have been perfect for scissors.5. The main hinge feels like it’s got sand in it.6. They forgot to mention that below the hinge are some crimpers. Useful for ring and spade terminals. But they don’t crimp as tight as the Gerber. With how I use and abuse this, I can see the paint on it coming right off. I will say that the flip-out tools are in there tight. Maybe a little too tight. The locks do work very well and don’t feel flimsy. It slides open really smooth too. A flick of the wrist and it’s open.Overall, it’s not a useful multi-tool. It may be made as good or better than the Gerber, but it’s usefulness doesn’t even compare.

Junk!!!
Save your $$$, mine broke shortly after the return window closed. I use it daily at work but not hard….even the pouch tore from being on my belt…the slide mechanism is what broke.

Impressed by the similarity!
Bought this to replace the 2nd G****er that TSA confiscated during travel for work at the flight gate. This much cheaper replacement is higher quality and closer to the other than expected. I have disassembled and inspected the mechanism to find that the largest difference was the increased tension on the springs in the slide. The slide opens easily now and the items are similar quality.

Meh…you get what you pay for.
I bought these to replace the Gerber multi-tool that costs a lot more, and was surprised at how poor quality this is. The piers do not open and close smoothly- the plier jaws don’t have the same serrations that are so useful as the Gerber. And it has this ominous pointy tool that is dangerous even when stowed. I gave it a try- but as much as I use this tool, I will invest in the real McCoy.

I don’t know if this is the actual Gerber multi-tool that US Army issues its members, but un-branded, or if it’s a clone, regardless, this is a well made tool, with extremely useful tools, some that are not in any other multi-tool….the pliers are superb, and are also designed for crimping and cutting wiring. There is nothing here that is not useful.Even the nylon pouch is top notch, and not a cheap pouchOverall, this is the best quality EDC multi tool at a price which makes it an amazing bargain!

Pues si la tienen como adorno, esta bien, si es para usar en alguna actividad muy sencilla tomar precauciones, si es para uso rudo para nada confiable.

It is exactly what was advertised, a Gerber knock-off, and you get what you pay for.I am storing this with my spare tire to be used in the event of an emergency, not for EDC, so, not disappointed with it.
