Moisturizing & love the smell once it mellows
We’re reviewing this after the summer so I can’t test out their after-sun claim. That said, it truly is a nice lotion, and I’m the first to admit surprise. I don’t usually give 5 stars if I can’t verify claims.The texture is so different, it’s unusually thin and runny, which makes good sense (if your skin is burned you don’t want to rub hard to spread it). There’s also zero of that greasiness you find in other after-sun lotions. Independent of sun exposure, I can say it did a remarkable job moisturizing my middle-aged-starting-to-crepe arms. The lavender smell jumps out at you, but even with my strong nose the scent is so natural my reactive asthma didn’t act up. Thankfully the lavender intensity mellows a few minutes after absorbing, leaving behind a really wonderful smell, which is my favorite part. It’s a happy smell. It’s somehow beachy. There’s a milky honey undercurrent and it reminds me of childhood, I don’t know why. I find myself stealing from the bottle when I walk by just to smell it on my arms (it does linger). The only minor negative is the bottle is smaller than I expected, about the size of a sunblock lotion. I don’t think it’s overpriced, but the smaller bottle sort of differentiates it from a normal body lotion you’d slather everywhere. This is not one of those. I can totally see using it on hot, red shoulders as you’re packing the kids up from the beach. Just don’t put it everywhere on everyone, or your car might briefly smell like a lavender field.

Soothing lotion, scent is too strong for me.
This seems to be a good lotion for using after a day at the beach. Since it’s fall now, a sunburn isn’t going to happen until next summer. Having very dry skin I love using lotions and have all kinds, so I tried this out. I like the ingredients aloe, jojoba oil and vitamin E. It comes in a very nice pump bottle. The pump works great & easily dispenses the lotion. The lotion is not thick at all, in fact it’s kind of loose & runny. It easily absorbs into skin which is much better if you have a sunburn. It feels moisturizing without feeling greasy.The only thing I don’t care for is the scent. Although I like the smell of lavender if it is mild …but I found that this scent is too strong for me. But I don’t always love scented products … you may feel differently. It is made in Israel and has a long exp. date: 2028. It’s a small but round bottle with plenty of lotion. The current price at the time of this review is $9.99 which to me makes this a good value.

Nice, natural skin care
This lotion seems very natural and gentle. It smells like fresh lavender. It’s lightly hydrating and mostly soothing. I think this is a good option for a gentle, nongreasy lotion for after sun. It seems to be very natural. That being said, it doesn’t have all the extra chemicals to make it thick or change the color. It’s a very simple formula, and goes on light and thin. The fragrance is strong and my husband doesn’t like lavender smell, so I use it when he’s not around.

It spreads easily without much rubbing, making it comfortable on tender or sunburned skin.The lotion comes in a plastic bottle. Mine arrived with a small leak, and the pump was a bit tricky at first, though it works fine once primed. Gentle and calming
I like this lotion a lot. The combination of honey and lavender gives it a gentle scent while the other ingredients make it come out as a very creamy hydrating after sun lotion. I like to keep mine either in the cooler or in the refrigerator so that way when I put it on it’s completely refreshing. It’s totally meant to be an after Sun product. There’s no SPF at all but it feels great on the skin.

This review is for Sion Biotext after sun lotion.Despite the name this is really a sunburn lotion.It’s a bit hard to test the efficacy as I need to get sunburned first.If you really, really like lavender smell this lotion is for you.The lotions is not as thick as other lotion, in fact it is very liquid thin.But this might be why it is absorbed to the skin very quickly. Once the lotion got fully absorbed it does not leave greasy feeling.

Creamy & Soothing skin care
This lotion ideal for after sun AND pool. I swim frequently and the chlorine leaves me with dry itchy skin. This lotion has a milky, creamy consistency that blends in very quickly with very little rubbing required. After using, my skin very hydrated and all the dryness was gone. I can see this being very soothing on sun burned skin since it took so little contact to blend in and be absorbed.Strongly scented with Lavender, which I really like, but for a note for those that may be more sensitive to strong scents. The scent does fade after rubbing into the skin. I cannot detect the scent or texture of honey, but honey is known for being a good, natural healer. The list of ingredients is on the site as well as the bottle.This is a good value for this bottle, as I only needed a few pumps to adequately apply to my body. The moisture lasted all day and I did not feel that I needed to re-apply.
