Just as I’d hoped, with the second try. To make it easy for people who want actual stats to compare to, I’m 6’2″ 200 lbs, 44 chest. 38 waist. I usually wear a large shirt. For whatever reason this time, Amazon recommended an X-Large for me based on “blah blah blah”. I thought it must mean they come smaller than usual and ordered X-large. But no. Way too loose. I returned my X-large and reordered the large just as I should have. Perfect fit. I’d say to even take the size chart with a grain of salt. A medium there for a 45.7″ chest would definitely have been too small for my 44 chest.I found the shirt to be lightweight without feeling cheap. A perfect summer shirt. I liked the texture enough to consider ordering more in different colors. It’s 70% rayon and 30% linen so saying that it’s a linen shirt might be a stretch, but for me it’s fine because it resembles linen in its weave. The gray had a linen look but without the wrinkle-prone nature. I washed it once as recommended, cold water and low dryer heat. Though I had to touch up with the iron because the hard shipping wrinkles, it really does appear that it will dry without needing an iron later if you pull it out before the tumble ends. My normal routine. No shrinkage.I’m glad I reordered.

The Quality I Have Been Looking For and DIdn’t Know Still Existed In a Modestly Priced Shirt
Wow! I am completely blown away. This shirt came packed in a small box with a clear top, folded neatly as if it weer from a fine department store. When I opened it, the fabric was smooth. The collar was crisp, but not hard. And, the folded material that made it fit neatly in the box was held together by plastic slide clips with grips. I have not seen these in ages. As I unfolded the shirt more, there were other clips keeping it neat. Not shrink wrapped, just a high quality presentation. As I completely took the shirt out, the stitching was incredibly fine and neat as can be. I thought to myself, this shirt is the way clothing used to be before everything was made in cheaper countries. When I bought the shirt, I did not pay attention the country of origin, but now I was curious. The label says, “made in Italy!” No wonder it is such a fine shirt. Italy has had a fashion reputation and I can see why. The color is beautiful, the fit is generous. The material has a smooth feel. I am going to order more in other colors. Now, of course, I just received it and have not washed it. But, based on my initial impression I am going to guess it will launder well.

Great shirts. The are true to size. They are very light and cool. Machine wash and tumble dry. No shrinkage.

Button down shirt for a ton of uses. Very lightweight and breathable for outdoor events. Can dress it up or down for a more versatile style. I love these shirts so much I bought more in multiple colors. They feel like a lounge shirt while looking good enough to go out to a nicer dinner with it. Fits wonderfully. not too short and not too long. Feels like they will last a long time.
