Sizing was confusing. My son usually wears a medium, but we sized up to a large. A little loose but fits great!It’s a good cheap shirt that keeps the sun off.

The fit isn’t great…
It’s a decently made shirt but the fit feels off and it rides up when swimming. Maybe I’m just disfigured? I don’t know… Otherwise it’s well made, the material is soft and hasn’t pilled, and it is color fast and hasn’t faded. I don’t hate it.

– The color was accurate and the material is very soft.- This did not inhibit swimming in any way- I like wearing it in-and out of the pool for sun protection purposes- Not too heavy and not too long!

Great shirt for the price
Long this shirt. Hand wash and dry easy and quickly as it’s light and swim quality maybe so you can wear year round and every day if you want. Wear mine to work daily. Wish the sleeves were with thumb holes or a bit longer but I know and have been told I have “freakishly” long arms. Regardless for the price you can’t beat this for the UPF protection and quality. Fits nice and is comfortable all around.

UPF SUN PROTECTION tag attached…. thanks AMAZON!
I looked around quite a bit to find UPF protection shirts that actually had a UPF tag attached to back it up. The AMAZON essentials UPF 50 shirts have these tags with “UPF 50+” on one side and “Conforms to ASTM D6603″ on the back, which from what I see on the internet, is the UPF testing standard for garments. Without this tag I’m not sure how you would know any shirt is actually UPF rated. Other: the M size shirt fits well for my build – 5’10”, 145 lbs., 40 inch chest, for mountain biking where I need freedom of movement and sleeves that are long enough to cover my forearms all the way to my wrists. But if all I wanted to use the shirt for is running or standing around outside in the sun, I would probably go with a SMALL. The only thing I DON’T like about 100% polyester UPF shirts in general is they tend to cling a bit to my back when sweating (working out), which cotton does not do. For me, cotton is much more comfortable during running or biking workouts, but from what I’ve read, cotton is like a UPF 5, stopping only 20% of the sun’s rays, while these UPF 50 poly shirts stop 97% of the rays. I need the sun protection for my outdoor workouts here in the desert so use these AMAZON UPF 50 poly shirts instead of cotton. Oh, another plus – both of my AMAZON ESSENTIALS UPF 50+ shirts say MADE IN SRI LANKA, which to me is much better than being made by our main economic competitor where many non-AMAZON “UPF” poly shirts seem to come from.

Decent sun protection shirt, not very quick to dry very inconsistent sizing.
I purchased two of these shirts, one navy and one grey for sun protection while snorkeling and diving, Both shirts were size large. I did not get burnt, so they did provide sun protection. They took longer to dry than similar shirts that others had, so the quick dry thing was somewhat of a fail. The big problem with these shirts is the sizing is wildly inconsistent. I normally wear a men’s large shirt. Both shirts I ordered were supposed to be men’s size large and were labelled as so on the shirts themselves. The sleeves on the grey one were over an inch longer than those on the navy one. The rest of the grey shirt was similarly larger. The navy one fit on the body, the grey one was baggy. The sleeves were not full length. Even the sleeves on the grey shirt were too short to protect my lower forearm and wrists from sun damage.

These are THE BEST swim shirts! Both my husband and I wear the Large. I prefer mine to fit more snug. I wear an XL in men’s and 1X in women’s size. My husband wears a large in tops. This fits him like it would fit a regular men’s size large top. It is thin fabric, but in a very nice way. Especially for the purpose of being on the beach or in the water. They dry quickly too. We own three of these among other brands and they are are first we grab. Highly recommend. And the price can’t be beat! They also wash beautiful. We hang to dry.

This fits a bit larger than I expected. This is not a ultra-tight rashguard type shirt – it fits like a regular t-shirt. I would suggest ordering your regular t-shirt size or a size down. The quality seems good. I am happy with the product.

Me gusta el color, el tejido, el material y la hechura. Para mí es la talla S. En principio el material ( poliéster) no me hace mal y no alergias ni cosas. Lava muy bien, 30° 30 minutos lavado exprés (no me la juego) seca super rápido. Color resiste. El precio normal, razonable. Y la calidad y acabo contento.
