Durable! Hard quality to find nowadays
I’ve worn a variety of button-up shirts over the years, from Prada to Carhartt, for different occasions – from operas to blue-collar work. Let me tell you this right now: this shirt can work for just about any occasion. What I love about it: the fit, feel, and durability. I lost a good amount of weight and needed to size down, I tried a few Amazon brands, and one black shirt really stood out. It’s this model. I’ve had it for about a year, machine-washed and dried it regularly, and it still looks as good as new. I bought another one a couple months later. It’s 100% cotton, which I love for its breathability, but it does wrinkle a bit. Usually it’s a trade off in shirts, but again; AMAZING FEEL. It’s fairly light so definitely layer up if it’s cold; I wore a merino wool base layer underneath and holy guacamole was I comfortable! Although it is long sleeve, it might not keep you the warmest alone, but if you use it in the spring/summer, you’re going to love it. When I used it for working on my dad’s farm, I honestly didn’t care about the wrinkles, but it was never terrible wrinkling. In fact, I got the sleeves hemmed and noticed the wringling on the sleeves is minimal compared to how it was prior, so be prepared to stop by the tailor if you’re on the shorter side for that perfect fit (def worth it though). If you ever want to use it for an interview or something, this might not be ideal, but definitely can pass if you hang it in the shower to steam and can impress if you take the time to iron and starche it. I’m on the shorter side, so I usually rolled up the sleeves to avoid wrinkling prior to getting them altered.I’m 5’6″, and am just got the sleeves hemmed. I love this shirt so much I bought multiple. So it’ll be nice having more colors in my wardrobe that are good quality and fit well. I’m a fan of the pocket too, even though I don’t use it much. Now, here’s the thing I don’t like, and it’s not what you’d expect. Have you ever heard of an expression, something along the lines of “if you’re not paying for it, someone else is” in regards to fast fashion like Shein and such…It’s the ethical aspect – I don’t know who made this shirt or the conditions they worked in. I’m hoping the quality speaks for itself as this is far from the “fast fashion” quality you see in modern clothes nowadays. The price isn’t terribly cheap…but still, it could be made by kids in the same environment as those old Nike documentaries. I’ve shifted to buying from countries where I know workers aren’t exploited (such as in the USA or Japan). As one working man trying to build a better life for himself, I don’t want to shop at the expense of someone else. I had a difficult time finding information, but I’m kind of in a tricky spot as I lost some weight and need something in my closet. But if you’re looking for quality that lasts and looks good, this shirt delivers. Try one or two first, and if it feels great, go for it.I’m graduating university soon and hope to make more money where I can buy stuff 100% ethically, so don’t think I’ll be buying this again unless they make it very transparent where it’s coming from. But for interviews or hardworking days when you need something sturdy, I highly recommend this; nothing comes close to bang for buck. If I find out it’s ethically made, this will be my first choice for life indefinitely. This is the type of standard quality clothes that were originally held to decades ago.[update: all of my shirts say they’re made in Vietnam. I feel it’s a step above China and Bangladesh, and the fact that Amazon is putting its name on it, I’m hoping it’s at least following stricter labor standards, as there are some good trends in Vietnam humanity speaking. Feel pretty good about buying from them 🙂 Again, typically, I try to buy from the US or Japan, but since I’m on a budget, I am perfectly happy with this and can recommend it to anyone else! changing review to 5/5 stars!]

Great Fit, Great Price, Everyday Staple!
I picked up the Amazon Essentials Regular-Fit Shirt on a whim and was genuinely surprised by how good it is. The fit is exactly as described — not too tight, not too loose — just a comfortable, clean regular fit that works well for both casual and slightly more dressed-up occasions. The fabric feels soft but durable, and it holds its shape nicely after multiple washes (no weird shrinkage or twisting seams). It also irons out well, though it comes out of the dryer fairly wrinkle-free if you hang it right away.I’ve worn it tucked and untucked, with jeans, chinos, and even under a blazer — super versatile. For the price, it’s hard to beat the value. I’ve already ordered a couple more in different colors. If you’re looking for an affordable, dependable shirt that just works, this is it. Highly recommended for everyday wear.

Good
Arrived on time with no issues. Quality is fine for the cheap price, I just needed winter shirts while losing weight and didn’t want to spend much. Color was a bit off from online, but for the price, no problem. I ordered a bunch and sixty pounds later, it served its purpose.

Good quality shirt for the price
I like how light this shirt is and the colors. the fitment is good; however, the sleeves/cuffs are a little loose on me. The shirt itself fits good. It is a good length for me to either tuck in or leave out. I like how it is not slim fit. I am 6’2” and I am about 230lbs to give you an idea how it fits I wear an xxl. The shirt is a little stiff but it is lightweight and thin which keeps me cool in the hotter season. I always where a t-shirt under so the fabric does not necessarily have to be the softest in my opinion it is not bad though. The shirt is priced exceptionally well for what it is. Anything for less than ten dollars; how can you pass it.

Comfortable Casual Summer/Tropical Weight Shirt
I previously would buy summer weight poplin men’s shirts from a uniform supplier. I liked having a collar so that it was a step up in neatness from a T-shirt, but not as formal as a true dress shirt. And I liked the super light weight cotton material for tropical/summer afternooons. That supplier doesn’t offer them anymore so I was pleased to find these poplin shirts here on Amazon. After trying one I bought several more. They are perfect after the beach or boat for going to cocktails or supper out.I wear a 16 1/2 – 34 dress shirt and for these I selected the XL size. It is a comfortable roomie fit for me — nice on hot days.

Wrinkle Kingdom
It is fine as a basic, black button shirt. However, I have never had a shirt that is so prone to wrinkles as this one. Some shirts maybe you iron them for work after washing but could wear without ironing for casual situations. This shirt though always needs ironed. It comes out of the wash always looking like it had been balled up while wet, packed in suitcase with bricks, placed in checked baggage with American Airlines, lost for eight weeks, then allowed to sit in a hot warehouse for threes months before being sold at an unclaimed baggage sale. If you like ironing, this shirt is for you.

I have bought many of these colourful and well made shirts. The sizing is great and comfortable. Not too tight and not slim fit.

These shirts are great value for the money. They’re well-made poplin shirts with only a few dangling threads on each shirt that needed to be cut-off. Colours on the shirts are bright, and the sleeve lengths run around 35″ on the Large.

Trending look! Great price point and cotton. The amazon essentials line for women is my go to for classic, well made/ high quality fashion for women at an unbelievable price point. Out matched in retail. I am thrilled to discover that the men’s line is no different. My boyfriend is thrilled but camera shy so sorry no photos!

Inferior cotton, button and workmanship quality. Already using it as a shop rag after 2 wears.
