Works well after shaving to reduce irritation
I picked this up to use on my face after shaving and it works great for that. The list of ingredients is long and I don’t know what most of it is, but it seems to be an effective formula. It takes care of razor burn quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. The scent is mild and mostly neutral. Value at the time of purchase was fair for the size.

Versatile aloe based moisturizer
I had expected this product to be like other aloe gels, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it is different. It is primarily aloe (99% per the description) that has been reconstituted from a powder, but also includes a long list of other moisturizing ingredients. It seems thinner, is absorbed easier than other aloe gels, and has a very slight but pleasant scent. I applied some after shaving and found that it did prevent the irritation associated with razor burn. I have not had the chance to find out how well it works for sunburn, but expect that it will work fine for that application. Overall, this product seems to be an aloe based moisturizer that should work for calming various skin issues.

More like a regular moisturizer than an Aloe Vera gel, didn’t suit my needs
I spend a lot of time outdoors and got this Aloe Soothing Gel to calm my skin after getting bug bites. This product claims to be 99% Aloe Vera which is known for its soothing properties.This gel goes on the skin easily and absorbs relatively quickly. While there is a cooling affect when putting this lotion on, it is not much different than the same effect I get when putting on any lotion. I also did not notice any difference in how my bug bites felt after. They were still itchy and red.Reviewing the ingredients revealed that this product is actually made using “Aloe Vera Leaf Extract” which is different than Aloe Vera Gel. Aloe Vera gel is from the inner portions of the plant leaves but Aloe Vera Leaf Extract can include the entire leaf.Ultimately this product did not work for what I needed it for. It was not a good value for me as it did not appease my red and itchy skin.

Awesome
I’ve never seen clear aloe vera gel, but I like it. It seems more natural to me. It has a similar light gel texture, and it absorbs fairly quickly. It feels very soothing on my skin. It also leaves my skin feeling moisturized, which is definitely a plus. It feels great on irritated skin. It has a light, pleasant scent. I really like it. The quality seems great. I’m not sure how they improved aloe, but they did. I’d recommend this brand’s aloe gel.

Fresh scented aloe gel
Nice aloe gel. The consistency is just right – not runny, not too thick and sticky. It goes on smoothly.It has a nice melon/cucumber scent. It’s good skin care to have on hand for a burn or scald — cooling and moisturizing.There are a lot of additional ingredients besides aloe vera, so this product is for topical use only.

Super hydrating
This gel comes in a plastic tube, there wasn’t any other packaging with mine for some reason. The ingredents are listed in English on a sticker on the back of the tube.Though it looks like it’s plain aloe on the surface there’s loads of other ingredents like hyaluronic acid and cica, although I don’t know what the latter is I definitely know what the former is. On paper this makes it sound extra moisturizing and not gonna lie IT IS.I got this after the summer so maybe it’s purpose of soothing hot skin is missed here but I think even after a good warm shower it feels great putting it on the rougher parts of my skin like my elbows, knees and feet. I haven’t tried in on my hair yet.It also has some fragrance to the gel so if that’s not your thing keep that in mind! It has parfum in it.Overall this is a really good gel, I’m not sure if it’s the norm for aloe based gel to be like this, but if it’s not this is awesome and if so then I still don’t care because it’s good for the value anyway lol.

“OLD SCHOOL” QUALITY & PURITY
* A’SOME After Sun Aloe Soothing Gel Korean Multi-Purpose Cooling Moisturizer with 99% Aloe Vera and Cica *I’m 77 years old and was country-raised near an aloe vera farm in south Texas. ANY cut, scrape, burn or bite my Mom came running with a freshly cut aloe vera leaf. It -always- worked to help stop the pain and increase the rate of recovery. Over the years, I’ve tried dozens of “Aloe-based” lotions with varying degrees of success, but nowhere near the success rate with 100% aloe vera. Korea isn’t Texas, but it is well known as a source for reliable skin care products. I saw this and had to have it, even if it has 1% cica. Cica cream, also commonly known as gotu kola or tiger grass, is an antioxidant-rich moisturizer for sensitive skin and is beginning to be used in some of the most expensive creams on the market. What this product DOES NOT contain is a lot of parabens, artificial pigments, silicones, mineral oils, sulfates, benzophenone, etc. I’m using it on my face after shaving and it truly feels good. A’SOME After Sun (or Shave) Gel is “old school”… clean and pure. I will definitely repurchase as needed and give it 5-stars for its purity and value for funds expended.
