Nearly perfect tinted sunscreen
This is a great product for people with light warm skin tone. I don’t think it would work for fair skin, as it borders on being a touch too dark for me, but it’s fine with a very light powder over the top to lighten it up a touch (see attached pics). I have incredibly oily skin and I found this to be neither dewy nor drying. It was a nice in between with a more natural satin finish. (and it is the perfect texture once I add a touch of setting powder). Although it is matte, it isn’t drying at all. If you have dry skin, I would definitely add a moisturizer underneath. It did take a few minutes to fully dry down. I’ve not tried this under liquid foundation, so I’m not sure how it would do underneath. I do wear a translucent setting powder over it, which sets it perfectly. It provides just a touch of coverage – a “your skin but better” look and It stays put even after mild sweating.I have tried numerous (at least 20) other tinted sunscreens and BB creams w/ spf over the past few years (including several viral ones) but this has been my fave. I also have moderate acne. I’ve only been using this about a week, but so far it hasn’t triggered any breakouts I’ll update this review if it does. I have attached a few pictures wearing the Austrian Gold Matte in the light shade. . I think it is obvious in the pics that my face is a touch darker than my neck, but it’s always like that unless I use a shade that is really too pale for me.

Sunscreen holy grail
This is hands down one of the best sunscreens I have ever tried (and as a skincare enthusiast, I’ve tried many!).PROS:- mousse rich texture, a pleasure to apply- multiple shades- matte finish- little scent- SPF 50- great price for a decent amount of product- water resistant- no white cast- blends in nicely- doesn’t run into my eyes and sting. This is the sunscreen I use around my eye area.- great for oily and normal skin typesCONS:- more shades could be added (but not a deal breaker given how nice the shades provided blend in)- this could feel drying for dryer skin typesThis is all around an amazing sunscreen, and much cheaper than super goop!’s matte screen.

Great combo product, loving the coverage and feel!
I am absolutely loving this sunscreen!It goes on really smooth, and offers really nice, even coverage. Did not experience any irritation, which for my sensitive skin is like striking gold! No eye stinging, and it holds well against sweat/water. It blends and matches with my pale skin tone fairly nicely. Plays well with makeup on top of it (as long as you let it settle on your skin before putting anything else on top).My only wish is that there was a lighter shade. I don’t see an orange hue on my face per se when I put it on, but it definitely makes me look a littler tanner, and I have to make sure I blend it very well and use some on my neck so it doesn’t look unnatural (the only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5). Due to this, it actually gives my skin a more lively color, which I’m not opposed to at all. Just need to be careful when blending.It’s definitely heavier than the foundations I’ve used in the past, so removing at the end of the day requires a little more effort. But, this isn’t a drawback for me, just something to get used to, and also a testament to its skin coverage!I will definitely continue to use this on days I want to wear makeup as a replacement for my spf and foundation. I am already considering buying another bottle just to stock up!

The BEST tinted sunscreen for oily skin
When I say I have a love-hate relationship with sunscreens, I mean it. As someone with oily skin and a strong aversion to any trace of shine on my face, I use sunscreen only because it’s mandatory for skin health. I’ve tried several tinted sunscreens, from budget-friendly to high-end options, in search of the perfect product for my skin: one with light to medium coverage and a matte finish that would last over 40 minutes. I had given up on tinted sunscreens and was using Bliss Clarifying Block Star (amazing mineral sunscreen with little to no whitecast) until I got curious and decided to ask ChatGPT for a good tinted one for my skin type. I’m not joking; ChatGPT recommended the Australian Gold SPF50 to me, and I bought it.Funny, right? I spent the last few days thinking I’d be once again disappointed, and it would be my fault for taking up the word of AI. Today, as soon as I received the package, I opened it up and applied the sunscreen. O-M-G. The shade is perfect, the texture is perfect, the coverage is perfect, the finish is perfect. Eight hours later, there’s not a trace of oil on my face, no extra shine. It didn’t sting my eyes or make my face itch. It didn’t look cakey or creased in any areas (around the eyes, smile lines, 11s). It is just… perfection.If you have oily skin and large pores and hate the way most tinted sunscreens sit on your face, don’t give up. Give this one a go. I am positive you’ll love it.

Love this foundation. Very light but still gives coverage and also gives protection against the sun.It does come in different skin tones so check before ordering. If fair skinned make sure you order lightest shade.
