    Watery liquid, not thick
The material isn’t that thick, it’s very runny and watery. It lasted me a while which was nice considering it being watery. It didn’t make my skin breakout or red. Great for sunburns or shaving!

    Ooooh ok
Love it for soothing actual sunburns. Love it for general moisturizer when my skin is just looking a little dull. Very runny, but I personally don’t mind it and it rubs in well.

    Saving Grace
Great stuff but it is super thin, so if you’re looking for thicker gel this is not for you. Worked great for me though!

It contains a skin irritant! Is not mostly aloe
I realized almost immediately that this is not just aloe. As a matter of fact, there is less aloe than even the preservative. Phenoxyethanol is supposed to be at 1% or less… so what does that tell you about how little aloe there is in this product? That’s right, less than one percent. It is MOSTLY WATER GLYCERIN, ALCOHOL, PHENOXYETHANOL (KNOWN SKIN IRRITANT, DANGEROUS TO INFANTS) with ‘some’ Aloe, followed by FRAGRANCE , PANTHENOL, AND A COUPLE VITAMINS + COLORANT.Phenoxyethanol is POISONOUS to infants, yet there is NO WARNING not to use this if you are nursing.”It is harmful to infants. In 2008, a nipple cream containing phenoxyethanol was recalled. Infants who nursed and ingested the nipple cream had instances of vomiting, diarrhea, and a depressed nervous system. Some babies lost their appetites, exhibited limpness, or showed difficulty in waking up after sleep.” (WEBMD)THE PACKAGING SAYS IT IS A “SOOTHING” “AFTER SUN GEL” – BUT it contains a high amount of alcoholWho the heck puts alcohol in a product that is described as a soothing AFTER SUN gel???Alcohol dries out the skin! I am sure it would still have that effect, and then the glycerin is in there to try to mask it. Putting a high amount of alcohol on your skin after being out in the sun is a bad idea, whether this contains glycerin or not. And no, it is not a gel. It is very watery in consistency. It may have a sticky texture from the glycerin and phenoxyethanol (oily & sticky substance) , but it is not a gel.DANGEROUS TO INFANTS – SHOULD NOT BE USED BY NURSING MOTHERS, AND SHOULD NOT BE ON A MOTHER’S HANDS WHEN HANDLING HER BABIES. IF THE BABY GETS THIS IN THEIR MOUTH, IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS.KNOWN FOR CAUSING POTENTIALLY BAD ALLERGIC REACTIONS, INCLUDING ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK.There is NO WARNING on the label concerning these potential dangers.”Cons of PhenoxyethanolIt can be considered dangerous. The use of products that contain phenoxyethanol is linked to reactions that may be life-threatening. If you do use products containing phenoxyethanol as a preservative, be aware of how much you’re using each day, especially around infants. You may be allergic. If you’re allergic to phenoxyethanol, you may develop a rash like hives on your skin where the product was applied. In severe cases, you may experience anaphylaxis. One study showed that parabens may enhance the effects of phenoxyethanol, leading to a stronger reaction. It may irritate eczema. If your skin is already sensitive because of eczema, avoid products with higher concentrations of phenoxyethanol. If you do have a reaction, discontinue use. Most cases of a skin reaction clear up within days or weeks once you stop using the product. It is harmful to infants. In 2008, a nipple cream containing phenoxyethanol was recalled. Infants who nursed and ingested the nipple cream had instances of vomiting, diarrhea, and a depressed nervous system. Some babies lost their appetites, exhibited limpness, or showed difficulty in waking up after sleep.” (WebMD)The potential for harm is great in a product that is alleged to be a “soothing” “after sun” gel even with the warnings to not put it on irritated or broken skin. A STRONG WARNING NOT TO USE THIS IF YOU ARE NURSING AND TO WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE HANDLING YOUR INFANT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION ON THE PRODUCT. AN ALLERGY WARNING MENTIONING POTENTIAL HIVES AND ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK ABSOLUTELY SHOULD BE ON THE LABEL.I thought I was buying an ALOE product, not a product that was mostly Water, glycerin and Alcohol with a bit of aloe thrown into it. I will not be using this product. I do not recommend it due to the potential for it to cause pain instead of being the soothing product it is passed off as. Alcohol in an after sun gel???? Insane. Because of the preservative (phenoxyethanol) IT NEEDS TO HAVE SERIOUS WARNINGS ON THE LABEL.Consider my repetition as me stressing just how bad I think this product is.

It’s a nice smell & feel after with not too much sticky. But it’s so runny it runs off you faster than Usain Bolt. Shame because the name is quality
