Good for Canon APC Crop Sensor Cameras
I purchased this lens because it is sharper than the 70-300. It is also lighter and has image stabilization. On an APC crop sensor camera it’s equivalent to and 88-400mm and that’s good enough for shooting wild life or subjects far away. It has a plastic mount instead of metal but if you take care of your equipment it will last you a long time.

This is a great lens for the money!
I was a little concerned buying a refurbished lens but I took the plunge and tried it anyway. Several people mentioned it was a great way to save money and they were right! This lens looks brand new. No scratches, dust, dings or anything and it works great. I’ve not had a chance to use it extensively but the test shots I’ve made were very sharp and clear and the image stabilization works great. Happy that I took the chance and with the results.
