Great quality
Double wind guard is a plus. The burner is very strong and quality is very good. I definitely recommend this product only downside is the carrying case it comes with seems flimsy but it hasn’t broken on me. Flames get quite strong and adjustment is very good, definitely good for kbbq and hot pot if you’re into that.

Ideal for tent or trailer
First I was disappointed this one-burner did not hook up to the classic dark-green butane bottle available everywhere but then I was hugely relieved, since now I can stash the stove easily and safely in a closet until I need to use it.The butane cannisters are also readily available and last longer than I’d expected. Walmart has a pack of three for thirteen dollars.The stove is very light and should be placed on a solid even surface, out of wind or drafts.I am living in a bare-bones vintage trailer and this little stove is ideal for heating water for morning coffee or filling my hot water bottle before bed at night. In between it works great for cooking just about anything.I do not see any wind guards. It comes in a lightweight metal case.It could not be better for my needs. Thank You!

Great for camping and cooking outdoors at home
I am overall pleased so far. It lights easily, is adjusts smoothly from a simmer to a strong flame and and seems well-enough constructed to last if not banged about. Wind protection is OK but you’ll want an additional windshield for exposed outdoor use. I deducted a star because the plastic case it comes with (which protects the product when transported) is poor design and flimsy plastic too thin to last – cheapens the whole experience. This was not the cheapest so for the money the case should be better. I am using it with a standard butane cartridge by Gas One – much lower price than Chef Master cartridge and works perfectly fine. Canister attaches/detaches easily between uses. Not stainless steel so would rust if left on boat.

A Terrific Ultra-Portable Powerful Burner
I purchased this 15,000 BTU model to use for wok cooking as well as for high-heat searing the surface of sous vide steaks. It functions extremely well for both of those tasks, quickly heating pans to the “screaming hot” temperatures required for certain types of specialized cooking. It’s also quite easy to use. From insertion of the butane cartridge, to lighting the burner, to ease of clean up, each task is a breeze.The burner is also quite lightweight and very portable. That’s a positive benefit most of the time, however it does mean you shouldn’t make vigorous shaking/tossing movements with a wok or you’ll risk moving the burner, too. But using it with care is a small price to pay for the high output flame generated from this stove top.The only downside I’ve encountered is the “hard carrying case” that’s included with the burner. “Hard” is not a word I would use to describe the flimsy plastic sheath-like thing that surrounded the stove when I opened the package. If the plastic used was any thinner, it would be translucent, and the tiny plastic hinges are laughable. Honestly, the case is an absolute joke … a bad joke. A very bad joke.One more thing: Before I purchased this Chef Master 90019 15,000 BTU portable stove I asked other purchasers if non-Chef Master butane refills could be used. (I live in an area where butane canisters can’t be shipped to individuals, and Chef Master brand items are not available in my state.) Although I didn’t receive a satisfactory answer to my question at that time, I can provide the definitive answer now. Yes, other brands of 8 ounce butane canisters absolutely do work with this stove. I’ve used 8 ounce notched Sterno brand butane canisters as well as Coleman branded ones, and both brands are compatible with this stove.

It works fine. It does the job. Some days I use my Weber gas grill. Some days I use my charcoal grill. And sometimes I use this stove as it is the perfect solution to what I need; for example to heat up my cast iron fry pan outside on my patio instead of having a smokey hot pan inside my kitchen. Very easy to ignite. Very hot flame. Compact. Appears to be very durable. Very useful appliance I’d say.

Graduation Party MVP: Fast, Hot, and Hassle-Free
I bought the Chef Master 15,000 BTU butane stove (model 90019) for my daughter’s graduation party and it worked out great. It’s super lightweight and easy to carry around, plus it comes with a handy little case which made setup and cleanup really simple. I was impressed with how efficient it was on butane—one canister lasted through a few big batches of food without needing to swap it out. It boiled water in a 20-quart pot surprisingly fast, way faster than my regular stove at home. The overall learning curve was basically zero; it’s really straightforward to use. The ignition worked every time, no hassle there. The only things to keep in mind are that the instructions weren’t very clear—pretty basic and not super helpful, though it was easy enough to figure out on my own. Also, even on the low setting, the flame stays pretty strong, so I had to pay closer attention to avoid burning things like sauces that I’d normally leave simmering. Overall, it’s a solid little stove that handled everything I threw at it and made outdoor cooking way easier. I’d definitely recommend it for parties, camping, or anytime you need some extra cooking power outside.

Specs are great but actual product does not leave a great expectation. First off the box, gas canister cover came loose and a screw dropped off. Unable to tighten the screw as the aluminum frame is out of alignment. Plastic chips and bits are in the box and the stove. At least the product is working when tested. Definitely does not feel like a premium product.
