Comfortable Hiking Boots
I purchased these for a trip to Acadia national park and they are the perfect hiking shoes that didn’t break the bank when purchasing. They fit true to size and were so comfortable, I didn’t need to wear them ahead of our trip to “break them in”. They held up so well on our two week trip and after a quick spot cleaning, they still look brand new. Great grip but not heavy! I also love the color!

New Favorite
My go to hiking boot used to be the Columbia Trailstorm but since they stopped making those I had to find a new pair. These are pretty similar to the Trailstorm, they’re still lightweight and feel like a perfect mashup of hiking boot and tennis shoe. They’re slightly shorter than the Trailstorm but the toe length on my normal size 7 fit just fine with mid weight wool socks. They’re definitely waterproof and mud wipes off easily. So far they’re holding up well and don’t look scratched up or old despite wearing them most of the late summer-early winter and putting LOTS of hiking miles on them. The first couple times of wearing them they did cause some soreness right above my ankles on the shin bone on the outer side of the leg, from where the top lace sits and caused the tongue to press on that spot. It wasn’t terrible but I definitely felt and had to loosen my laces, after about 2-3 wears it feels perfect and causes no soreness. So I do think these require a little breaking in, when I first tried them on I really wasn’t sure if I liked them but I had been so spoiled by the comfort of the Trailstorm that I decided to just give them a try. I’m glad I did because they’re my new favorite! The color is also super pretty!

Really comfortable waterproof boots that don’t need to be broken in.
Bought these for my daughter to wear for a month at an archeological dig. She needed a flexible boot that provided ankle support but did not require a steel toe. Her feet have narrow heels and higher arches so the boots needed to fit well. She wore them all the time since they walked to the site and went walking and hiking on weekends. There was no “break in” period – they were comfortable immediately. Great support and comfortable even at the end of a long day. They are also water proof which was critical in Ireland. Highly recommend these for anyone who needs a solid hiking or outdoor work boot. Fit seemed true to size. She liked that they don’t look clunky and the gray worked with jeans, khakis and gray pants.

If I could wear these everywhere, you bet I would!
Oh my goodness, what is there not to like?! I recently went on my first real hiking trip to Colorado, so I needed nice hiking boots. I bought a few different brands and styles of boots to try, some a size up as suggested, and was ultimately disappointed for various reasons. Then, I tried these bad boys on and fell in love. They are THE comfiest shoe/boot I have ever worn. My average steps a day is 8,000 in the real world, hiking all day in these boots I got up to 28,000 steps. The next day my feet didn’t even hurt. Plus, the waterproof side to these is amazing; I completely trust these not to leak. Word of advice though – I am a size 8.5 in women’s typically, but after reading reviews of other boots I chose to go half a size up. The 9 fits comfortably with thick wool socks, but I think if I ever wore thinner socks these might be too roomy. So, I suggest sticking to your usual size with these. Another thing I want to mention is the style and color; LOVE!!! I have to say, these are a confidence booster for sure. The quality, weight, style, value, comfort, and general dependability of these boots put my faith back in online shoe shopping.

Good Hiking Boots
Very comfortable to hike in. They are lightweight too so it makes hiking that much more comfortable. They look great too. Keeps my feet dry.

Glad I got this color!
Purchased these to walk my husky every day. We do a lot of miles daily and I needed something that was comfortable, supported my ankles and had great traction for all weather in NY. So far so good!I was afraid to get this color in that it would show too much dirt and scuffs but I’m glad I did. It’s more of a taupe color than khaki so it blends ok with dirt. I love the purple laces. Goes well with my dusty rose Northface coat and I still feel feminine.

Great boots
I am extremely pleased with these boots. They are lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. I wore them to Iceland and trekked through a stream, and my feet never got wet! I prefer a low-cut boot, but these were very comfortable. The traction seemed really good too.

Didn’t hold up great
Not sure if I didn’t tie these tight enough or maybe they were too large – but these did not do well for me! With any slight rain there was somehow dirt and rocks getting into my shoes and it was very uncomfortable. They were comfortable but did very poorly at keeping my feet dry / clean even with appropriate wool socks!
