The Perfect Keyboard for My Portable Projector
I love using my portable projector for movie nights, but trying to type in a movie title or a Wi-Fi password with the standard remote is painfully slow. I was looking for a small, wireless keyboard that I could pack alongside it to make navigating the interface easier and less frustrating.This little Doohoeek keyboard has been the ideal companion. As the user noted, it works very well as a keyboard for my portable projector. It connected to my projector’s Android system via Bluetooth without much fuss and has been very reliable. Being able to type out searches quickly instead of hunting and pecking with a remote has made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. The built-in kickstand is also a clever touch; I use it to prop up my phone while I’m getting everything set up.The keyboard itself is super compact and lightweight, and the attached cover keeps it protected when I throw it in my bag. It feels much better to type on than I expected for its size. For anyone looking for a travel-friendly keyboard for their projector, tablet, or phone, this is a really versatile and well-designed gadget that solves a very modern problem.

Instructions unlcear, had trouble pairing
Seems pretty good so far. I did have a problem getting it to pair, but I reread the instructions (Chinglish) and decided maybe there was a bad translation and tried a slightly different method. The instructions said something to the effect of “hold FN+WIRELESS 1 button down until light flashes.” If you just hit FN+WIRELESS 1 button the light will flash, but my phone can never find anything. I noticed it said it should stay in pairing mode for 15 minutes and the light would only flash for maybe 2 minutes tops. I decided to hold down the key combo, and it flashes at a different rate (faster). Then it showed up and I was able to pair without issue. I’m not sure what mode it is in at the quick press of the key combo, but it might just be where it searches for the other device without having to unpair from the current device, since you can use it with 2 devices.I have big (fat) hands and wanted this keyboard to build a cyberdeck type thing for coding on the go and using my phone with a headerless raspberry pi for ham radio. I used it right off the bat to type up some micropython code on the phone and it worked great. The keys are big enough that you can easily hit the one you’re shooting for without having collateral presses. The layout does take a little looking at to find certain things like the parenthesis. You use the FN key as like an additional shift key. It’s really not too awkward. The size is perfect to put in a bag or in a coat pocket.Don’t know about the battery life, because I haven’t used it for more than about an hour, but it worked pretty good for that amount of time and I think it still showed 100% on the phone.

This keyboard is easy to carry
This keyboard is easy to carry around and connects to my iPhone right away, which is great for typing on the go. The keys feel nicer and sturdier than the ones on the Apple keyboard. The only thing I don’t love is that using some keys, like the apostrophe, takes a bit more effort. The black synthetic leather and soft lining give it a stylish look. It connects to two devices without any issues and fits in my bag without a problem. The magnetic tab keeps it closed, and it also works with my Android tablets. I’m very happy with this keyboard overall.
