Best headlamps, still!
My ex took my old headlamps so I had to buy new ones, ha! These are even better than the older model with more functions. Still can’t get over how powerful these lights are epsecially compared to the super high end ones you buy at the outdoors specialty stores. Nothing beats em!

Fantastic feature set…dimmable, memory, colors, modes…etc
These headlamps have spot, flood, red, blue, red flashing mode, are dimmable, and also remember the mode and dimming settings that were last used! I don’t know any other headlamp with this many features, certainly for the price. Being able to set them to red mode and have them remember that setting is great when you want to preserve night vision. Some lights make you cycle through a whole bunch of modes each time you turn them on. Also the dimming on the flood and spot are fantastic too. Some lights have preset low/high but with these you can hold down the mode button and they will slowly dim until you release it. This setting will then be remembered when you turn the light off. Super useful. Oh…and they are really bright at full power. Good product and great price at less than $10 per light.

Better than the top of the line models
Bought a second set of these headlamps after getting a set two years ago as a present. They are brighter, easier to use with regards to the different functions and as a bonus they come with batteries. My high end color Black, mineral Diamond is not as good as these Duracell. Plus you get 3 for the quarter of the cost of a high end one. Got my first set in 2021 all 3 are still going strong. Have used it during hunting season and packed an elk out of the woods for 6 hours in the drizzly and then pouring rain and the Duracell performed great. Use it for razor clam digging at night, duck hunting in the morning and it hasn’t failed me yet. Still on my first one. Buy a set, keep one in your vehicle, one in your emergency box and use one for those dark activities where you need a light. Bought this second set and split it up for Christmas presents as they came individually boxed.

Read this if you’re buying this headlamp for walking at night.
Buyers should be aware that when using the U shaped light, there is slight glare into the eyes from the u array, and this is an issue when walking trails at night. If one uses only the single spot that is eliminated. It occurs to me, but I have not tried, that a thin strip of opaque tape might eliminate this.Overall, I’m very pleased with the features on this light. One can select between full brightness, U led array and Spotlight, Spotlight, red light, flashing, red light, or blue light. For each one of the white lights, i.e. spot and LED array are dimmable. If you select a dimmer setting and turn off the headlamp, the headlamp will return to that same setting when again turned on.It sits fine against the forehead when walking. It is slightly bulky. It does have an adjustable angle click plate. I have not run with this headlamp, and don’t know if it would tend to fall onto the bridge of your nose or not.

Absolutely LOVE these headlamps
I know headlamps are headlamps I get it but these are my fav. The strap is durable and well made. The light has a bunch of different modes/brightnesses I really like the strap itself comes off so you can wash it if it gets gross and it washes really well too. I like the packaging because they headlamps all come in different boxes with batteries and the strap. I have one each in my emergency kits and camping kits. This is my 2nd set. I’ve had my first set 2 years and they are still working and I’m great condition!

X-lent! Switches work well, headstrap is comfy, strong, EZ to adjust; & lamp unit Pivots downward.
This provides the types of lighting it claims, with an easily accessed & responsive button/switch. The head strap is wide for comfort and grip, also easily adjusted (not while being worn- of course). The battery compartment requires strong fingernails or a coin to open; probably because it has good rating for being water resistant. The battery compartment identifies where the positive ends belong (that’s good); however, the batteries require a strong push to get them to snap into place. I’m very impressed. It’s a Costco Online product sold beyond Costco. I googled that and apparently, Costco sells some products wholesale, and retailers often buy those Costco Online products and sell them on Amazon. I checked because I want to avoid buying goods that were not paid for.

When Costco stopped carrying these I switched to Amazon. These headlamps are eminently affordable, they last a decent amount of time, and they work just fine for general use around the campground.

Problem with no solution
2 of the 3 headlight part had a defect. It didn’t get damaged during shipping because the parts were not in the box. My first picture shows the only headlight with no defect. The connection part for the hinge has clips on both sides ( shown in black). The second picture shows how the one clip is missing of the two. The only thing I could do was return the whole box but I really just wanted two non defected. I thought about buying another and exchanging bad for good and then returning a box with the bad stuff. However cannot find a new one near the price I paid. I’m just hoping the defects will not be a problem going forward.

El producto es muy bueno, siento que es más valioso de lo que cuesta. Tiene luz roja, ultra-violeta, blanca amplia(la amplia es levemente amarilla, se ve muy bien) y blanca con enfoque. Aparte de esto tiene memoria, quiere decir que cuando la prendes, prende en el último modo de luz en que la dejaste, esto ayuda mucho para no molestar a otros (que estén durmiendo) con la luz cuando la prendes de noche. Y por último tiene regulador de intensidad para los modos de luz blanca, quiere decir que puedes ahorrar energia y tambien usar una intensidad más baja si no necesitas una alta. Las lamparas son PX8, quiere decir muy resistentes al agua y también te garantizan caidas de 1 metro sin problemas. Tambíen cuenta con bloqueo para que no se prenda sin que te des cuenta. La verdad es un super gangazo, estoy seguro que no hay una mejor opción por su precio en Amazon, y lo se porque dedico mucho tiempo a escoger bien los productos que quiero. Ya e tenido lamparas de cabeza antes, esta es la mejor que e tenido, sin duda.No se cuanto tiempo este en el mercado, ya que fue hecha para Costco en especifico, en la pagina de Duracell no la tienen disponible, así que es una edición especial.Yo prefiero comprar lamparas de baterias y no recargables por la ventaja de poder tener pilas extras y usarlas de inmediato, en cambio si es recargable te tocaria esperar hasta que la lampara se cargue para poder utilizarla.Excelente producto!

Excelente calidad incluso de la cinta elástica de la cabeza .ilumina mucho varios modos de funcionamiento combinando las dos luces lo mejor es que se agotan las pilas y se cambian al momento y sigues utilizándola ,no teniendo que esperar 2 horas para que carguen las baterías
