Cool little emergency tool
If you live in an area that has at-all regular power outages, this is a phenomenal tool to keep around. Between the hand crank, the solar charging, and the USB ports, there is no excuse to not having this thing at a full charge whenever you need it (or even should you forget). A tad bulky and heavier than you might think, but looks cool and functions great. The actual radio reception and sound quality isn’t the best, but for an emergency device, it more that does the trick. Functionally, I can’t think of how you beat this thing – it has all the USB cables built in (USB-C, Lightning, and standard USB-A), a flashlight, an automatic SOS flashing light, a radio. It’s great. For our next outage (Thanks in advance, Duke Energy) we’ll be ready!

I am very impressed with this survival radio. It contains a variety of features that make it a “must have” for emergency situations. In fact, I like it so much that I plan to purchase one for each of my grown kids.The radio comes in a very strong cardboard box, with protective foam, which should easily protect it in shipping. The radio itself seems sturdy and well built. It does come with an instruction manual and I found a couple of YouTube videos that made it even easier to operate when learning to use it. Just search for “semmorn weather radio”.This radio does everything that is described in the description. You can tune it in to your favorite FM radio station or weather station. You have the option of either USB charging , solar charging or crank charging it. Red lights indicate the amount of charge left in the radio. When solar charging a green light comes on when there is sufficient sunlight to charge. You can use the radio as a power bank, which allows you to charge several devices at one time. I especially like the in-built cables., as I often forget to bring one with me. You can also wirelessly charge you phone using the device. It can be used as a flashlight, but will also signal SOS if you need to signal distress. I was able to pair my phone to connect my phone to the device via Bluetooth and play an audiobook on it.I was skeptical when my husband suggested that I order this radio. However, I now understand what a powerful device this is and how useful it is likely to be in an emergency situation.
