It is made of durable insulating Mylar material designed by NASA for space exploration. It retains / reflects back 90% of body heat. It is Reusable, waterproof and windproof.
The Leberna Emergency Survival Mylar Thermal Sleeping Bag is extra large in size, 84 inches in length and 36 inches in width. It has a bright black strip on the edge for high visibility. It is intended as an emergency shelter, but it is also great for camping, hiking, and protection from the cold outdoors.
The Leberna Emergency Survival Mylar Thermal Sleeping Bag comes with two packs. Each pack has its own carry bag with draw string. Each pack weight only 2.8 oz (3.0 oz with the carry bag). Each pack is 7 inches by 3 inches. It is very light weight and easy to carry and store in your car, back pack or in your emergency kit.

Very nice compact set of emergency, sleeping bags, will likely hold the warm warmth well based on material. Easy to store in the vehicle without taking up much space, I like the orange color, which can then be used if you need to signal or Mark your spot/vehicle.

Makes me feel safe if ever need it
Having practical things in my bug out bag makes sense. And because you get 2 it is a good value for the money. These are so light weight and can easily fit in a glove box, purse or backpack. It is smart to he prepared and have them in all your vehicles too.

The bag needs to be aired out first.
The bag has a strong chemical smell to it when you first try it out. I had to air it out for two days before the smell went away. I am very glad I found that out before I had to use it in real life. Besides that issue, the bag is very light and seems to be well made, it will be great for emergencies!

Tried it in 2*F wearing only thin sweat pants and thin sweat shirt. Worked great. Began warming in minutes and kept me warm. Could’ve easily stayed in this for hours in a real survival situation with no worry of hypothermia. Could still feel the cold on my back from the ground though. Putting anything between myself and the ground would definitely fix this.There was no wind when I tested this. So not sure how well it would hold up in windy, extreme cold conditions.Very strong material. I was able to sit down, stand up, and curl up in it without any tearing.Black from seam tape did start to come off a little in one area. Did not affect function though.Designers are geniuses. They took a regular oversized Mylar blanket and taped it into a sleeping bag. All the years I’ve done winter, outdoor hiking and camping I’ve never thought of this. Definitely a keeper.

The sleeping bag felt damp inside after a short time, making it uncomfortable to sleep in. It also started to smell, especially in colder temperatures below 5°C
