Missing product info you need
This item lacks important mfr. info you need to ensure it works properly. THE UNIT LIGHT AND POWER WILL NOT INITIALLY TURN ON UNLESS ROOM TEMP IS BELOW 38 degrees. Once the room temp is below 38 degrees, initially, the unit will light up and turn on, and then cycle as needed. The instructions do not include this initial low temp requirement, causing purchasers to erroneously think the unit is defective.

Works well for automate heating lamp for Well Pump
Was tired of walking to the Well House every time it was below freezing and turning on the heating lamp. This is basically plug and play. The switch turns on when temperature is ~40 degrees or less. Then turns of when is around ~50 degrees.Works great and I never had an issue!

Absolute crap!
Pro- I love the idea of a thermostat to automatically turn the cables on and off. Price on Amazon is $5 less than in Frost Kings website or another big box store.Con- this is our first year using. One adapter burned out before the snow season even started. We bought another to replace it. Our second one burned out the next week. Then our replacement burned out less than a week later. From now on we will just plug it in and unplug it when needed. Don’t waste your money.

Doesn’t work with constant load over 7A at freezing temp or higher
Bought this to run a space heater in cellar. Graph on back of packaging says won’t run constant load over 7A at freezing temperature or higher. Tried it, switch shut off in ten minutes without heating room. Sending it back.

I did not install this item, so I cannot say whether or not the installation was easy. We use this thermostat to control a heater attached to our generator. The generator is outside of course, in a little shed. We live in an area where temperatures can reach -40C in winter. We experience frequent power failures, so for those of us who live in this area, a generator is a must. The heater is attached to the generator — don’t ask me how — and the thermostat controls when the heater turns on or off. When temperatures go below freezing, the thermostat kicks in and turns on the little heater. This ensures that we can (remote) start the generator easily, no matter what the temperature. This past winter was particularly severe, so it was a pretty good test for the thermostat. It never let us down — more than value for money.

Très facile à utiliser. Ce que j’aime le plus c’est d’avoir un visuel ( led ) qui m’indique si mon fil est en fonction ou non.

Seems good so far I hope the hold up, only problem I have is how they are designed, if it was vertical instead of horizontal they would fit probably in an in-use exterior plug box

Worked great all winter preventing an ice dam over my entrance way.
