Easy, light and cheap without the cheap look
Lightweight, super easy to assemble, took me 5 minutes. No tools required. The tubes are plastic but sturdy, the shelves are MDF and only the top side is white. It’s worth the price. It fit my purpose very well.

Budget Shelf That Works, But Flaws Show
This shelf does the job, but it’s far from perfect. Mine arrived with some damage and discoloration, which was disappointing right out of the box. The material feels cheap, and the screws are really noticeable once it’s put together, which makes it look less clean.For the price point ($42.92), I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s functional if you need something simple and temporary, but the quality just isn’t there.

Functional Bookshelf for Smaller Books
This was a real pain to assemble. There aren’t many screws, however, the alignment tolerances aren’t very reliable, and I often made “new” holes to get everything to fit. Not a deal breaker, but it is frustrating when the quality is lower than you were expecting. The stability also is a bit less than I was expecting; I can fit about half of the shelves with books, though, I am worried about cracking under the stress of the weight of the load. That could be in part due to how light the actually bookshelf is since it can be picked up with a couple of fingers. The shelving is also much much narrower than I was anticipating to the point that only paperback books can fit without getting jammed against the wood. I put some smaller stuff on there, and it fits in a little end of the room, but it’s not really anything “nice”. It’s a functional bookcase and nothing more but also nothing less.

Low quality. Non-solid assembly. Ugly, shelf bottom are unfinished cardboard. Max 15 lbs per shelf. Not enough for books.Bought and assembled a chair from IKEA the same week (for less money ). World of difference.
