These Gaiam mats are fantastic.. I’ve bought 8 or 10 of them over the years.. Been doing Yoga 20 plus years and have had/used a bunch of different mats.. durable, not slippy, not too squishy.. and at a great price.. I see no reason to spend more

My Go-To Yoga Mat—One Weird Smell, but Still My Favorite
I’ve used Gaiam yoga mats for years and have always loved them. They’re comfortable, durable, and the designs are always beautiful. I’ve purchased several in the past and just recently needed a new one, so I didn’t hesitate to go with Gaiam again.This time, the mat arrived with a strong chemical smell—something I hadn’t experienced with previous Gaiam mats. It was noticeable enough that I didn’t want to use it right away. However, I left it outside for a full day to air out, and that completely resolved the issue. Now it’s odor-free and perfect for daily use.Once aired out:* It’s non-slip, even during barefoot yoga sessions.* It offers just the right amount of cushion—not too thick, not too thin.* It stays in place on hardwood floors and doesn’t curl up at the edges.* It’s also lightweight and easy to roll up, which makes it super convenient to take to class or move from room to room.The only reason for the 4 stars is the unexpected smell out of the package, but since it aired out easily and everything else about the mat is great, I’ll still continue buying from Gaiam. It’s my go-to brand for yoga mats for a reason.

Once upon a time in a land called “My Living Room,” a brave but budget-conscious heroine (hi, it’s me) set out on a quest to find a yoga mat that didn’t smell like melted tires, didn’t cost a fortune, and didn’t feel like doing downward dog on a hardwood floor. 🐕🦺Then came the magical moment—cue sparkles and harp music—when the Pink Marrakesh mat appeared in my Amazon suggestions like a vision from the fitness gods. Under $20? Check. Pretty design that makes me feel a little fancy even when I’m in old sweatpants? Also check.When it arrived (via Prime chariot), I unrolled it expecting at least a slight whiff of chemical doom—but nope! No weird smell. None. It was like opening a fresh new start.The 4mm thickness gives it just the right amount of cushion for my knees and wrists without feeling like I’m bouncing on memory foam. Plus, it lays flat immediately after unrolling—no dramatic corners trying to curl up and sabotage my poses. And when I’m done? Perfect yoga mat
Love the color and the material, is very soft but thick enough to do my yoga/pilates excercises without feeling uncomfortable. It rolls up very easily and it has the brand label with a sticky side that helps to keep it roll and tight to storage it.

Beautiful but NOT non-slip… false advertising
This is a beautiful yoga Mat! However, it is advertised as being a non-slip mat and its not at all. If you get even a little bit sweaty during a regular yoga class, you slide all over the mat. So hot yoga is definitely out of the question. Grippy socks would help with your feet, but not your hands. It’s comfortable for stretching and basic yoga that doesn’t make you sweat. It folds up nicely and transports well. I just wish it came with a bag.

I absolutely love this yoga mat.it is so beautiful&stylish!! It’s soft and sticky(in a good way) when I use it my yoga class.the down side was a little rubber smell in the first few day so you have to use it more often then!delivery was quick in a good condition,over all 10/10 well done!! Also recommend to anyone.Will buy again when this one finish,thanks
