    Built to last.
I ordered this tent as a replacement for the Marmot limelight 2P that I have been using now for over a decade. While my old tent is still worthy and in service, I felt it was time for a new one. This version is a welcome upgrade of my original. The quality is exceptional, tape job on the seams are spot on, the zippers are solid and open / close effortlessly. The best improvement is a second door and a second vestibule ( slightly smaller than the main one).Everything about this tent is solid and well worth the carrying weight. If it is anything like my current model (and I suspect it is) it will hold up to strong winds using the provided guylines and will stay high and dry in the heaviest rain. The only complaint I have ( if I can have one) is it only comes with 4 guylines and 6 tent stakes. I like to personally use more, but it is sufficient for most situations. I recommend this item without reservation.

    Best tent I’ve owned
I got the 3p which fits a double sleeping pad and a double/queen sized sleeping bag and so I have a bit more room to move around. I like that there’s a door on both sides so there’s no stepping over each other. And when the rain fly is on there’s a good amount of “porch” storage space for shoes and keeping your gear dry without having to take up space inside the tent. The pole is an X design which is really easy to set up. Overall it’s the best tent I’ve had and I’m planning on keeping it for well over 20 years

    Grommet grenade
Amazing tent, kept me dry and had enough room for myself and all my gear. Was easy to set up but i had a lot of issues with the zippers snagging everything. Unfortunately on my first go with it i was setting it up and one of the grommets for the poles blew and the tent fell over. Was able to finish the weekend without it but i feel its necessary to have.

Not Ultralight, but great Backpacking Tent!
Took this for a 3 week, 150 mile backpacking trip. Still feels brand new. Used it every night. If you’re more concerned with a reliable, comfortable tent – this is a great backpacking tent. By breaking up the items into their own stuff bags, I was able to easily fit the tent, footprint and stakes inside my backpack. Only the poles had to be stashed on the side of my bag. It’s not ultra light – but it withstood wind of up to 60mph (with the guy lines staked out and all stakes having rocks on top of them) on the top of a mountain. Also held up well in snow, light hail, and lots of thunderstorms. Never got wet inside, even with sideways rain. The 2p comfortably fit myself and my gear completely inside. The two doors and vestibules were nice – would keep my pack in one vestibule in good weather, and use the other as my door.Enough room to stretch, change clothes, roll out muscles, and generally be dry, warm and comfy. Private and not transparent. No condensation. Leave the rain fly off on warm, dry nights for a great breeze.Best part is by the end of the trip I could set up and break down the tent in about 2 minutes by myself. In bad weather or emergencies, this is a great feature.Tent stakes did bend fairly easily in rocky ground like most aluminum hook stakes, but still work. That’s the only damage I managed to inflict on this tent.

    Great quality!
Fantastic quality. Have used for multiple camping trips! It’s a tight fit for two people so definitely need to cozy up but it’s very easy to setup, it’s been through quite a few rains successfully and generally cozy! This may just be me, but I also love the green color, the sun coming through is so beautiful! There is an option to ventilate well but if you want to stay warm, it’s easy to bundle up and retain your heat!

Great comfort for weight and price
I’ve used this tent for dozens of 2-4 day backpacking trips for almost a decade. The 3p tent fits 2 adults very comfortably with space for gear. This is not an ultralight product but the comfort is worth the weight, bulk and price. The zippers still work like new. Setup is easy with hooks instead of sleeves. I’ve had no problems with condensation. No parts are broken or torn. Inside it has 5 pouches including 1 on the ceiling. There are felt hooks and a plastic hook to hang things from the ceiling.I’ve always carried this tent on the outisde of an external frame pack. It is large for a 60L pack. I’ve never split the load between 2 people but that would probably work.Like all 3p tents on the market, 3 adults will not fit comfortably in this tent. I like to sleep and camp comfortably in all weather conditions so this is perfect for me.I’ve never had water in the tent. If the tent is going to be in steady rain for 12+ hours, use an additional tarp over the tent as you should for all tents. But it is still waterproof under normal conditions.I plan on using this tent forever. Excellent product! Buy it!

    Good Value
Solid value for a simple tent. Sets up in about a minute. Not sure that you could fit 3 people in it but I was using it solo and it had plenty of room for me and all my gear. It could comfortably fit 2 people with no issues. It ventilates correctly so things stay dry and the tent temperature stays comfortable.
