Durable and easy to use and open. Setting up a new code was very easy. Perfect for locking my bag when I travel.

Very practical
Easy to set combo. Opens and closes easily. The flexible cable is great for luggage because it fits through the smaller holes in many of the lockable zippers. Plus being flexible and longer, it keeps the lock from putting too much twisting force on the zipper and damaging it. Would also work great for other scenarios where you need to transport things in a “locked case” for legal reasons.

It works to keep curious hands out of secured luggage.
I use it to secure the main zippers on my travel duffel when I check it. It is small comfort to know that TSA can remove it for inspection without damaging it. I use it to keep curious, unauthorized people from taking a peek. It won’t stop anyone who is determined to access the bag. It’s easy to setup and use. I prefer remembering a short combination code vs physical keys.

Must have if regular locks won’t fit through your zipper tabs.
I have a nice set of luggage locks, but the holes for the lock are too small. I needed locks like these, with a cable smaller than the shank of a traditional lock. I looked at all the Chinese knock-offs, but I didn’t want to sacrifice quality to save a dollar. And I’m happy I didn’t; these have lasted three international trips.

Worst color ever
Be prepared to get whatever colors Master Lock wants to send you. I got a Red Lock, a Blue Lock & a PINK lock. Even my wife doesn’t want the pink lock. I guess it’s just going to be wasted money because I don’t know a teenage girl that might want it.Thanks for nothing Master Lock

Great for travel, flexible cord locks many things.
Used this lock for international travel, no issues. Was able to lock two different zippers on my backpack with one lock because of the flexible cord. Have used on lockers, and also to lock two backpacks together. Felt safe. Can use it to lock on checked luggage during flights (not all locks are). Color stands out a bit too, so I know it’s mine. I like the four digit code. Will use again on next trip.

The lock itself is probably sufficient for luggage (although I doubt it is overly protective) but re-setting the combination was difficult as the digits are hard to move while depressing the button. I wouldn’t recommend for this reason.
