They’re TSA-approved, which means I don’t have to worry about locks being cut off during baggage inspection—a real plus for anyone who checks bags frequently. Setting my own code was simple and took just a minute. Once set, the dials turn smoothly and line up cleanly, so I don’t have to squint or fiddle to get the lock open.In use, they feel solid enough for zippers, backpacks, and suitcases. They’re not heavy-duty locks (nothing that small is going to stand up to bolt cutters), but they’re more about deterrence and keeping honest people honest. For that role, they work well. This is a nice little set of 2 locks for luggage or lockers. It is easy to set and reset the combination. The locks are small and lightweight, but the shackle is long enough to fit my luggage and most lockers I’ve tried. It doesn’t appear substantial enough to deter a thief with tools but it makes me feel more comfortable in low threat settings.

Great locks for the gym!
These combination locks were super affordable and came with two locks, which I was very happy about! I started going back to the gym recently but I was out of a lock, and I was afraid I would have to purchase one of those master locks with a large dial on it (which I have a hard time opening sometimes) or the ones with a key, and I’d lose the key somewhere at the gym. These locks are super compact and you can set your own combination. Although these are less secure because of how small they are, and there are only 3* 0-9 digit combinations that you can set it as, I highly doubt anyone at the gym would sit there and try all the combinations. Anyway, I’m really glad that comes with two so I can give one to my co worker who also goes to the gym with me. It was also very easy to set up the combination the first time. One thing I do not like is that it is difficult to turn the dial sometimes.

For what it is, you can’t beat the size-weight ratio. This is a handy convenience lock for stuff you either need to keep on your person or open frequently: backpacks, child locks, or an extra layer of security for packed items.Quality: About the best you can expect for a combo lock with this small a form-factor. (Spoiler: it’s sure as hell not indestructible)I once recovered one from the road after 24 hours of it getting run over by heavy motor traffic & it still worked fine for years.Security: Most dial-combo locks of this sort can be easily cracked without noticeable tampering in minutes or less. Which is great if you forget the combination, but don’t use these to secure anything unattended for significant lengths of time. It might deter pickpockets, children, & keep critters out of your camping pack, but that’s about it. Plus, the shell has a fully exposed non-welded seam. You might want to seal that.Travel: Good for carry-ons. Not advised for checked luggage. If the TSA cuts the lock off the $5-9 retail price-point isn’t even worth the damage claim. (consider that a Plus or a Minus)Note: The outer shell varies. It’s either question-mark Chinese cast zinc or brass. (You’ll find most manufacturer/retail descriptors are vague on the subject)

Good for Travel
Bought these to use on my luggage for travel overseas. The locks are durable and easy to set up. They were mainly used in my hotel room as a deterrent since we were going from hotel to hotel and didn’t want to unpack every time. If TSA wants to get into your luggage, there isn’t a lock they can’t get through. So that being said I like the locks as they gave me a sense of security and at an excellent price.

Ahora tuve oportunidad de recuperarlo y a buen precio.Es un candado de pequeñas dimensiones pero de buena calidad de materiales. Sus discos de combinación giran sin ninguna traba. Cuando se acomodan los tres numeros de la combinación el bastago abre sin atorarse, libremente.
