Current, accurate, with detailed geographic maps in a small compact format.
Exactly what we needed. My wife and I keep a World Atlas by the TV stand so we can look up the locations and general information about countries and places we hear of when watching the news or documentary programs. The atlas we had was getting too outdated. Though lacking a lot of individual country statistics, the maps are very detailed and informative. Very pleased with this purchase.

Pocket full of facts
Very handy for the size it is. There are other “statistics p”included that I don’t recall finding in other atlases I’ve owned.

Buy the larger versions instead
I like the book, but it’s very difficult to read due the small type. And it’s difficult to see some locations if it occurs between a page spread. I understand these are difficult issues to overcome in such a small book. But that understanding doesn’t make using it any easier to read or use. I recommend buying the larger versions of the book.

Excellent quality! Very informative
Great for travel. So much information! I may need to trim the number of pages down and mark it up a bit to bring it in my carry-on for wold travel. Great for thinking about the next trip or chatting with other travelers.Seems like it would be good for learning more about the world for students of all ages.Really good quality printing, sturdy pages. A wealth of information for map junkies.

Is eensy meensy a good descriptor…?
This is truly a very nice book. it has much of the wonderful information and beautiful maps and colorful graphics found in National Geographic’s normal size Atlas, but… it is “teeny”. 4”x6” I carry a small purse and it would fit right in. I’m sure it was designed to be carried in the glove compartment to make travel more enjoyable. The only reason I didn’t give this a four or five star rating is because the book is so compact and the pages are so tightly packed together that you can’t read all of the information on pages exhibit one map. That is to say that a lot of information got caught in the crease between the two pages. It takes some of the joy out of exploring. On the other hand, I ordered a normal size 11th edition of the National Geographic Atlas from another seller. That thing was a tone. It was 19“ x 12 1/2“ and weighed 10 pounds. I had an earlier addition of the National Geographic Atlas a few years ago and it was about half the size of this new one. I used to enjoy sitting on the couch with it on my lap and perusing the pages. There’s no way that I could do that with this new one. It really probably needs some sort of a podium or library stand to hold it. I lugged it back to the store to return.recommendation: I wish the sellers would include a little something about the size of these books.

Great Travel Atlas
I bought this to take with us on a trip to Europe. It is a great size and I love it’s portability. Maps are clear, be it small but it has to be to be this size. We will love looking at all the places we are traveling to.

/a nice pocket atlas
This little book of maps seems very practical as a travel item. The maps do not have much detail, but could be useful on the road.

The front and back covers both curve outwards! It’s meant to be a gift and I forgot to take a picture before wrapping it up. We placed heavy stuff on it in hope it’d straighten. Not successful. Anyway, it’s given to the BD boy, he’ll just have to accept that. But I can’t honestly give it a 5 star rating.
