Ultra Comfy & Supportive!
Oh my goodness, this is so comfy, I just want to walk around wearing it lol. I got it thinking I would like to use it as a gift, but now I’m thinking I might keep it, even though I don’t really have a need for a neck pillow. I do get cricks in my neck every once in awhile and this pillow could help w that, in addition to me just wanting to wear it for comfort haha. The cover to the foam is soft to the touch. You can adjust how tightly you want to velcro it together. I like how it holds my neck up all the way to the bottom of my chin/jawline & puts a little pressure onto my shoulders. I wasn’t sure which way to orient it, so I tried both directions. I don’t know if there’s a way it’s supposed to be worn, but oriented w the zipper on top (& side w the grippy part of the velcro on the left) was definitely the right fit for me. Putting it w the zipper on the bottom was not so comfortable for me. You can remove the foam from the cover, but I’m hesitant to try it, bc I’m not sure I’d be able to get the foam back in, bc the zipper is relatively short in proportion to the full length of the pillow. (That is the only downside to the product in my opinion).It’s nice that it comes in a compact hard carrying case. Others have said they’ve had trouble getting it back in, and while it’s not just throw-it-in-&-done, it wasn’t that hard for me to get back in. You just have to press & roll the foam tightly into shape. The case has a strap w a button clasp that you can use to loop around things like luggage handles.It also comes w foam ear plugs in a clear plastic case and a simple but comfortable and functional black eye mask w an adjustable strap (via velcro) in the back. Note that I did not try to fit these two items back in the case w the pillow. I was able to get the pillow in w/o a lot of effort, but it was a tight fit and I’m not sure it would be easy to get all three things back in together.I’m a fan! I’d recommend this!

Nice for travel but not a good fit for me
I liked the compact design of this memory foam neck support pillow by VOOMIKON and ordered it to see if it would work for me. Unfortunately not, but I can see how it could be quite useful if the neck pillow fits right.The compact design is ideal for travel. The case has no rough edges or sharp corners to damage items in a suitcase, and there’s a strap with a snap to attach it around a handle or wherever needed. There are no strong odors coming off the case nor pillow, always a concern with plastics and synthetic foams that need time to off gas.The memory foam pillow is covered with a removeable neutral grey jersey type fabric that’s thin and stretchy. It comes with a piece of black fabric over the velcro strip that has to be ripped off prior to use. I say “ripped” because it’s stuck like glue to the velcro, hard to see, and really hard to get a grip to pull off. The velcro does hold the pillow tightly closed once that protective cover is removed. It’s such a strong bond I worry that over time the pillowcase will tear when separating the velcro.The circumference of the pillow around the neck is adjustable with the velcro strips, and the height is an irregular shape and varies to almost 5 inches. I assume the wavy variation in height is to better position the pillow’s high and low points to fit. I can see how it could prevent neck strain and cramps from overextending muscles during sleep when the head falls to rest on the pillow instead of drooping and hanging loose.But to me, the entire thing is too tall, too thick, and too firm to be comfortable. I feel like I’m in a choke collar instead of a soft pillow. I’d have to be desperate for sleep for this to work, but it fits my husband’s long neck much better and he likes it.The light gray case is nicely made with a really strong zipper. It’s a serious challenge to stuff the pillow back into it, so it’s a good thing that the zipper is durable. I couldn’t manage to get the earplugs and eye mask to fit back into the case along with the pillow, but I suppose it would go if I were willing to fight with it longer. I just don’t have the patience to put up with stuff that doesn’t work like it should, especially at a premium price tag of $32.88. The seller is currently offering a $10 discount coupon so if this type of pillow works for you, now is a good time to buy.

Trust me, velcro is strong, does fit in case, and comfortable.
Getting right to the point, I see negative comments from others regarding fitment of this back into its case and weak velcro. They are incorrect. As I rolled this tightly on my counter, I had zero issues getting it to fit back into the case. As for the case, however, zipping this back in did cause the threads on the case zipper to stretch a little.Pillow is memory foam, and will have that “new foam” smell to it for a little while, so get beyond that. As for the male and female halves of the velcro sewn onto the pillow, NOTE that the spikier side has a protective fabric cover over it. Peel that off and you will experience that each side holds securely to one another. It is easy to miss that little fabric piece and made me wonder if I was tearing something off I shouldn’t be, but it has its purpose for storage reasons.Cover is soft and is removable via a nice fine tooth zipper. Foam cushion firmness and shape was very comfortable for me – I wore this for several hours while slumbering on my couch watching TV. I’m a guy with an 18.5″ neck by the way, and possibly more than one chin these days. I didn’t care about the sleeping mask or ear plugs, but they are also decent quality.This is a fine travel pillow for car or plane, and also great around the house. I’m very happy with comfort, quality and value.
