Great Lens but POOR PACKAGING AGAIN
Lens is great. 5 Stars. But EVERY TIME I order something from Amazon that should be packaged with care they literally have zero protection. They just throw the box in a box with no other packaging and send it out. So this $300 lens was just bouncing around. I’ve ordered a $1000 ricoh gr 3 and the exact same problem. The lens might be fine but it’s ridiculous that it continues to happen. Always a risk ordering from Amazon.

It’s a great wide angle lens
It produces sharp images all the way out to the edges. It’s build quality is great, it feels solitary when mounting and unmounting from my z8. The lens is extremely light, you hardly know it’s there when mounted. All in all it’s a good walk around lens for city scape and some general photography.

Beautiful construction
The lens is very capable and nice. It feels cooler and well-built. I am just not sure if it is worth paying the premium price for this special edition. Probably it is if you have a Nikon Zf. For other Nikon Z I am not so sure. I am keeping it, though. If not for the price difference, I would rate it 5 stars.

Great walk around lens
I needed a small street photography lens for my trip to New York I took my ZF and I wanted to pack as light as possible so instead of taking any S line lens I ordered this one and took a Voigtlander 50mm F/1.0 and this lens worked brilliantly and I managed to fit them both in my laptop bag with the camera which was pretty cool. I was surprised by the results.

Me gustó el funcionamiento y calidad de imagen. Se alcanza a escuchar el motor de enfoque pero no muy fuerte. Tiene algunas partes plásticas y quizás de precio pueda estar un poco alto.No me gustó que ya no trae funda ni parasol

I bought the NIKKOR Z 28mm f 2.8 Lens a few weeks ago and have been very happy with it. This is moderately fast lens and captures great photographs in low light condition. The downside is that it is plastic built and not weather sealed, so I have to be careful when using it in bad weather. But overall, I’m very happy with the lens and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality wide angle prime lens.
