Product description

Implementing water in a tactical environment is a challenge. Given your need for water in this austere environment, special precautions must be made.
A hydration pouch is an alternative solution to carrying water hands free. Most hydration pouches are intended to be used independently or can be used in conjunction with a vest.

What is a Hydration Pouch Used For?
Why is a Hydration Pouch Important to Have?
It holds water. Go too long without water, and you will be in bad shape. Go without it from this point forward and you will cease to exist in a matter of days.
Fortunately large-volume water transportation is nothing new. Insulated water bottles, backpack style hydration bladders and MOLLE mounted hydration pouches have been developed to meet the needs.

Water Solutions on the Battlefield

Additionally, it’s a great fit on most molle rigs like molle backpack ,plate and carriers or modular chest harnesses.
Water Solutions on the Battlefield:The water pack could be worn by itself with its shoulder straps or woven through the back side of your MOLLE webbing to stay affixed to your carrier. You could simply grab your hose – positioned along your front and take a sip.

Centr Rucksack Approved
Works great with my Centr Rucksack. The molle webbing attachment is secure and it matched the ruck perfect. I was tired of hanging a bottle from a carabiner and having it swing while rucking. This fit the bill perfectly.

Great pack, missing o-ring on bladder hose
Love the hydration pack itself, great MOLLE system made it easy to attach this to the weighted vest I use for rucking. However, the bladder that came with it had a huge leak where the hose connects to the bladder. I ordered a new bladder and compared them to try to determine the problem. I figured out that the original was just missing the rubber o-ring that should have been at the end of the hose (so the bladder itself is fine). I’m hoping to locate a replacement o-ring somewhere so the original hose will be functional again.

Way better than more expensive options out there.
This water-pack worked great! It was just the right amount of water for a day outside wearing full chest rig, without adding more weight. A friend of mine got a similar style camelpack that held 3L but it was attached differently and as he drank his water it would sink further down his back into the way of other gear. We had to keep tightening the straps on that version during the day. Meanwhile this one stays put because the water pouch sits within a secured pouch. The hose and mouth piece was the exact same as the way more expensive camelpack version and I had no issues with water flow or funny taste to water. This was a great addition to my chest rig when attached to the back.

Just the size I needed
Wanted a reservoir bag for my weighted vest when taking walks. Vest is small so a 3 liter bag was too long. This holds a 1.5 liter hydration bag perfectly. Its well made and works with the MOLLE system on my vest. Highly recommended.

Don’t buy this for 3L / 100oz bladders – it’s WAY too small
There is absolutely no way this will hold a 3 liter / 100oz water bladder. I have four of them from various manufacturers and none are even close to fitting in this. 1.5L, maybe, but I don’t use that size – I purchased this for my 3L bladders and was excited to give it a try, but it’s a non-starter. Don’t buy this for use with 3L bladders.

No molle security
Seems good. The only thing lacking is proper security for the molle straps. When you lace the straps through there is just a fold of fabric to secure it at the bottom. I used zip ties around the strap and through the molle to make sure it doesn’t come out when running with the plate carrier on. I asked the seller about this problem and immediately received AI responses lol.

For the most part this is a pretty good product in my opinion however I do not like a couple things. Firstly the molle straps are soft and a bit to long with NO terminator clasp like a snap, VELCRO, buckle or hard catch of any kind. Just a soft piece that kind of prevents it from coming out (likely not under rough conditions). For me that’s not good enough as in rugged conditions the pouch may hook on things and pull this long floppy strap out.Secondly the water hose connector is vertical rather than horizontal because there is no port on the bottom of the bag which means nearly half the hose is buried in the bag. This reduces how much functionality you have with where you go with the hose in my opinion and also it means that you don’t have gravity feed and can only suck on the hose to get water out. Which doesn’t work well for people that want to get water out to wash something or have dogs and want to give them a trickle or put some in a portable bowl.Thirdly it would be nice if the hose cover was the same colour as the bag (very minor issue). To be fair though this is a good product over all with a couple things that could be much better. With that said here are some positive points: the stitching looks good they use very nice large Velcro connections on the closure flap, they provide a bungee to keep the pouch from being too loose and I am sure that helps with bladder compression as well. It has exterior Velcro for patches too which is nice for an identifier. And the fit of the bladder inside is tight but not hard to get in which is nice for keeping your packs compressed and your physical profile low.If they corrected the two major issues and made an insulated version this would the first choice for many people I think. Despite the constructive criticism I will likely buy a second one and use work around a for the issues.

Used as water hydration pouch holder for big paintball magfed game. Works well. Not as big as other hydration pouch holder, but works well on small plate carrier.
