Flexible and great for travels!
This portable espresso maker is perfect for me when I go on weekend travels where I don’t have easy access to coffee. It’s relatively light and it’s very compact making it great for my travels. I don’t have easy access to hot water but this device is neat in the sense that it’ll heat up the water for me if I don’t have hot water readily at hand. It does use up extra battery but it’s not a problem for me since I’ll just charge it right after each useThe quality of the espresso isn’t going to be as good as fancy counter top machines but this does a good enough job for its price. I like that it’s flexible in the sense that I can use nespresso pods or I can use my own grinds. Overall a pretty useful gadget!

Brilliant and versatile. The ability to make a nice coffee, on the move, from either of two Pod sizes or ground coffee is great. It’s rechargeable, works with hot water or will heat cold water before dispensing. You can either prep the coffee before you set off and then when ready – add water and start the machine. 3 mins later an expresso is born!There are some niggles.It only works with 50-70ml of water, so you’re not getting a full Americano from this in one swoop! The top for the water isn’t tight, so you can’t put water in and then go on the move, it will spill. So the water needs to be kept in a bottle, which isn’t too bad if you’re using pods and want to make a number of drinks, then a bottle then works well.The temperature of the water that the unit heats is 85 degrees, so it’s not scalding but I’d normally like mine a little warmer. However you can use the maker with hotter/boiling water where it will just use the pressure to force the water through the pod/ground coffee.The instructions aren’t the greatest and better images and explanations of the attachments would help.However, those niggles are tiny compared to the joy of being able to make quality coffee anywhere and at such a great price – only £40. Nice!

La mayor aportación de esta cafetera es la posibilidad de tomar un café recién hecho en cualquier lugar, aunque no haya electricidad. Tan solo es necesario llevar cápsulas o café molido y agua.Pero es que además es muy versátil porque se adapta a los dos tipos de cápsulas que encontramos en el mercado (Nespresso y Dolce Gusto) y al café molido, por lo que cada uno puede elegir su café preferido.Tiene la posibilidad de funcionar con agua caliente o agua fría. En este caso, la propia cafetera se encarga de calentarla hasta la temperatura necesaria para hacer un buen café. Como es lógico, en este caso tarda algo más de tiempo y consume más batería.Está pensada para ser llevada de un lado para otro. Por esta razón trae una funda de transporte. Es aterciopelada y de color gris claro. La cafetera en sí pesa tan solo 573 g y mide 7,5 cm de diámetro y 18,7 cm de altura, todo ello sin ninguno de los adaptadores.El funcionamiento es muy sencillo: se coloca el café en el adaptador adecuado, se enrosca este en la parte inferior de la cafetera, se echa el agua en el depósito ubicado en la parte superior (que tiene marcas para indicar la cantidad), se aprieta el botón de encendido durante dos segundos y listo. El tiempo de espera depende de la temperatura del agua que se haya añadido, como es lógico. Pasado ese tiempo empieza a salir el café por la parte inferior. Se puede verter directamente en una taza o colocar el vasito que trae.El café resultante es de la misma calidad que si se hubiera hecho con una cafetera grande de enchufar.Excelente cafetera portátil. Muy recomendable para excursionistas y, en general, para quienes quieran tener siempre a mano un café recién hecho.
