A Life Saver In The Woods
Works great! Camped in Montana and drank lake water for 2 weeks. And it tasted good! On a full charge, This unit would pump out 7 gallons in about 6 hours. The only issue I had was an algae build up in the foot valve which comes apart easily but it filled with tiny beads. It’s neat idea but I wish I would have had some extras. They were very hard to gather out of my wheel well but I did apparently gather enough because it still works. I changed the filters after a 2 month camping trip but the RO filter was probably just fine. I’ll probably buy another just for emergencies. Better than bottled water.

I camp a lot. The difference between a good camping experience and a bad is if you do or do not get Montezuma’s revenge. Clean water equals no rush to the bathroom. The only concern is that this will fail 31 days after receipt.The water I tested was better than my city water. I now filter my city water.Everything I have seen, this either works well for a long time or just dies. Customer service from company is non existent.

Short battery life
I like this very much , but I am disappointed with the battery life I can’t not get more than 5 gallons of water before the battery dies.I have tried running it while it is charging but it won’t do it.I wish there was a way to directly plug it into electricity or larger battery. This is an update I have had machine 1 year now and my battery now dies after 2 gallons of water , I have only ever used it for filtering drinking water from my well so not a lot of heavy use.A replaceable battery would make this a great water filter , I am going to start looking for a replacement for it

Clean water
Got this unit for camping but decided to use it in the house for practice. Very hard water here so now we will use in the house on the regular. Set up a little system that works great for now. Does a 12 minute gallon and so far we average about 7 gallons per charge. We fill out clean used plastic water bottles then fill the 5 gallon dispenser. So far it is a really nice purchase. Our tap puts out 196 on the water tester and 160 after a Brita filter. With this unit it puts out 9 on the tester. The mineral taste is gone and it’s better for running through the coffee maker and counter top ice maker. We will use camping and give an update.

A good RO filter you can take with you anywhere.
Well made and light weight for a RO filter. The included extra filters are a big plus. The internal battery pack makes this filter truly portable. I’m using it mostly for my RV. I was curious about if you don’t use it for awhile in-between trips, and that was addressed in the instructions. They said just to run water through it for 10 minutes if not used in a long time, same as flushing a new filter. No more buying bottled water that is in bottled in plastics, you can make clean safe water from about any water source. Perfect for camping and having on hand for emergency use.

I bought the Itehil reverse osmosis system on April 30. It has now stopped working and I am outside the return window timeframe so there is no support. Before it stopped working, it was unpredictable as to how much water one could expect. Sometimes it would fill a 5 gallon pail and other times a few drops. I had purchased this unit as I do not have a well on my acreage when I spend time there during the summer. Before it stopped completely, I would have given this product, reluctantly 3 stars. But now I just have a piece of expensive plastic. I would have given this a negative 1 if the option was open. I had seen a number of comments either praising it or condemning it before I purchased it. I am now with the latter group.

Tja, was soll ich sagen.Das Gerät funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Es gibt nichts, was ich negativ bewerten müsste. Aber ja, es stimmt. Das aufladen des Akkus dauert. Aber, meiner Solar-Inselanlage ist das komplett egal! Wenn sie sich dieses tolle Gerät anschaffen beachten sie bitte: Es muss genutzt werden. Es macht keinen Sinn diesen Filter einmal zu nutzen und dann für Wochen in den Schrank zu stellen. Das verträgt er nicht und stinkt erbärmlich nach Amoniak beim wieder benutzen. Also, alle 2bis3 Tage einschalten und gutes Wasser ziehen (Kaffee). Meiner läuft ohne Probleme. 5 Sterne von mir.
